It felt very much like a test run, therefore, we did not have a complete experience and this review is not based on that. That being said, The Ladder is a marvel like no other. This extends beyond just another escape room. With it evolving from a Kickstarter and being years in the making, you can very much see the love and passion poured out into this experience. The owners and creators and all staff involved are extremely passionate about what they do, and the various bits of technology in each room are straight up something I’ve never seen before. Even if something wasn’t working, the staff was quick to explain what would have happened, and took our feedback very seriously when we were asked about how we felt about our time and what could have improved. With the amount of different routes/paths and endings you can have, I can sense how replayable this will be, and I’m quite excited to come back and try The Ladder again in its full glory once everything is 100% complete.
