My gold standard for a Halloween scare experience is Sloss Fright Furnace in Birmingham, AL which is sadly now closed. The immersiveness they were able to create along with the multi-sensory special effects was mind-blowing. It literally felt like you were dropped into a scary movie scene and had to run through it with both veritcal, horizontal and some crawling. Some people just don't like to let good things happen.
