No reliance on lock/key/mechanical. Inventive, immersive gameplay with live actor and GM. Note: More than one way to escape this room! Challenging puzzles and unique game. Super fun room.
Chapter 2: Norcross Art GalleryOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLPart 2 or 12. Super engaging and immersive. Great gameflow and unique interactivity with GM/actors. Challenging puzzles in multiple mediums. Again, no simple lock combos here. Designed to pull you in and keep you engaged. Loved it. Would absolutely recommend.
Chapter 3: The MorgueOff The Couch GamesEscape roomIRLPart 3 or 12, and the last available at this time. The spookiest and most challenging to date. Consistent characters mean that I am invested in the storyline. Bonus challenges were fun and 1 was particularly difficult. Loved the gameshow style of this room. Very cool to be escaping "for a purpose". Can't wait to see how the choices made will play out when additional rooms are built. Hopefully in 2025!
Doctor Jones Study HeistEscape Tech - Downtown SalemEscape roomIRLDr Jones Study was an improvement of the other room we did. Still VERY lock heavy - as in two manual locks on each drawer. Some fun puzzles and black light play. Also, chairs to sit in. Big plus there. Overall, not novel but a fun room.
Film NoirEscape Games PDXEscape roomIRLSetup like a classic whodunnit. Excellent puzzles and challenges. Props and decor really immerse you in the Noir effect. Had an awesome time. Definitely recommend!
