Doctor Jones Study HeistEscape Tech - Downtown SalemEscape roomIRLDr Jones Study was an improvement of the other room we did. Still VERY lock heavy - as in two manual locks on each drawer. Some fun puzzles and black light play. Also, chairs to sit in. Big plus there. Overall, not novel but a fun room.
Save The AsylumEscape Tech - Downtown SalemEscape roomIRLFirst, several elements in this room were broken. From the dry erase marker that barely wrote to the lock with the tumblers that did not turn to even enter a code (and didn't open when we got the code in) to the tape player with dead batteries that couldn't play the secret message. It was rough going. This is VERY lock heavy, and I'm not a huge fan of this style - particularly when you get a solve that give you a key that opens to another key that opens to yet a 3rd key. As far as gameplay, it was "linear" didn't flow well even accounting for the constant malfunctions. I would not recommend this one.
Operation GryaznayavodaIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLThis room was fully awesome. Great storyline and gameplay. Our GM, Patrick, was superb as well. 4 people is really helpful and we all had stuff to work on. And I have it on good authority from a Russian speaker that this room translates to "Operation Dirty Water". Definitely, Definitely do this room!
The Fright Before ChristmasParadigmqEscape roomIRLSuper fun room. Great for families. Lots of locks but clever puzzles to solve and plenty for everyone to do. 1 jump scare but otherwise just spooky vibes. Good gameplay and flow. Would recommend for families/tweens.

Into The FutureParadigmqEscape roomIRLAgain, we didn't have any story. We just were going to the future and get something to get back. More tech in this room but still lots of mechanical locks. One of the locks wouldn't open, and we had to stop the game with 2 GMs tried to fix it...and failed. One of puzzles required us to basically lay on the floor, and there is no reason to do that. Very awkward for game play. Some puzzles were great, others were just confusing. Overall, I would skip this room and the Past one. At best, they are so-so. And when stuff is busted, it's just a huge time suck.
