Every one of their rooms is excellent and has continued to set the bar higher and higher. This room is no exception. The incorporation of the actor in the room was well done without being overbearing. The interactability was fun and it felt like we had agency in how it played out. The theme of the room fit the storyline perfectly. It was very detailed and it was not always clear where the next path was going to lead us. 10/10. If you haven’t done a room here - you are missing out.
Calling All VillainsCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLThis was our first time at CU Adventures and it was a great experience. Calling All Villains was a very fun and challenging room. The puzzles were just challenging enough without being a time sink and the decor was very thematic. The pace of the room flowed very well and there were several mechanics used that I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Highly recommended.

The room is built into an actual house and occupies the entire second story so it feels like you are actually exploring an old haunted house. The theming and atmosphere are top notch. It’s not overly scary but definitely has a spooky atmosphere.

Locked-Up SupermaxMind Trap Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a very realistic prison escape simulation. The theming was excellent and really felt like a prison escape. Highly recommended if the theme seems appealing to you.
Mafia HeistMind Trap Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAll of the rooms at Mindtrap are amazing. The scale of this room is particularly impressive. I’ve never done an escape room with as many different areas as this one. The puzzles were fun and not too challenging. The theming was well done and detailed. Highly recommended.
Medieval MadnessPanIQ Room - Logan SquareEscape roomIRLThis room was very unique and the puzzles were all well integrated into the environment. There were not any padlocks or combinations, the puzzles were all very dynamic. There were a few points where it wasn’t clear what was needing to be done but overall it did flow well.

Some of the puzzles were not very intuitive and there were times that it was clear that we had input the correct solution but it was not clear what happened as a result of it. The flow felt broken up because of that. Overall a cool experience and worth checking out.
Candy ShoppeEscapetown - PeoriaEscape roomIRLThe room fit the theme well. It was a fairly basic room with a lot of locks. The difficulty was not hard at all and is aimed at first timers, which we didn’t know going in. Still a fun room especially for kids.
