    Dream Labs: Decades ahead of the entertainment, adventure and illusion business! The setup There were four of us (four adults). We have all visited several escape rooms before, but wouldn't describe ourselves as absolute "hardcore puzzle crackers". The arrival Do you remember the movie "Total Recall" with Arnold Schwarzenegger? Just like in "Total Recall", you can now buy dreams. Dream Labs makes it possible. When you enter the store, you can see from the shop windows that there are some very special products here. We opted for the dream "The Legend of the Heartless Pirate". Once you have taken a seat in the waiting area, monitors explain the principle of daydreams to you. However, you don't have long before you are briefly instructed by the friendly dream staff. The subsequent phase alone, during which you glide into your dream, is magnificent. Tips: You cannot park directly in front of the Dream Labs. We recommend the public parking lot on the corner of Engelmannstraße and Wilhelmstraße, just 20 meters away. There is plenty of space there and you can park for free! Do not drive any further towards the Therme. The parking spaces there cost a fee! The dream begins Once you have drifted into your waking dream, you won't believe your eyes or ears. You find yourself in a place reminiscent of a mixture of "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "The Secret of the Monkey Island". The atmosphere captivated us right from the start. The sound of the waves, Caribbean sounds and then this absolutely cinematic setup. None of us have ever experienced a room with so many loving details. Tips: It is highly recommended that you take time to enjoy the details in addition to searching for solutions. We already had a laugh or two in the first 10 minutes, which was incorporated into the scenery. The adventure As the game progresses, you are immersed further and further into the story through a wide variety of puzzles and tasks. Just like the room design, the story and the puzzle fun won't leave your diaphragm in peace. The mixture of tasks, absurdity and a wonderful arc of suspense is simply great fun. You really want to linger in every "section" of the story and let the details sink in. But the "Legend of the Heartless Pirate" has to be experienced and you really want to know what other grandiose scenes and puzzles are waiting to be cracked. The conclusion When we reached the end, the endorphin-dopamine levels of all four adventurers, without exception, were at their peak. We didn't know whether to be overjoyed because we had discovered the legend or simply deeply sad that the adventure was already over. It took us pretty much exactly 75 minutes. It would also be highly recommended as a family adventure for children (at least 11 - 12 years). In our opinion, two adults are recommended in this case. Dream Labs have their rating for a reason. It was by far the best escape room (the term actually falls short) that we have played.
