Burlesque

Escape room

What an experience this room is! Puzzles flowed beautifully, were all relevant to theme and there were a few surprises throughout. What a gem of a room.
The Depths

Tied with the train room for favourite room at this venue. Flowed well, very on theme. Great mix of easy, medium and hard puzzles. Very interactive.

Escape! Whistler

This could be a great room. If the hide and seek elements were replaced with a narrative stringing the clues together that would be a great start. There were features of the game that were really special, but it’s definitely missing the coherent flow of other escape rooms.
Game Of The Dragon
Rush Escape Game - South Yarra
Escape room

Great game! However, Rush is very pricey for a company that only resets their games properly half the time. Not sure where the ‘premium’ part applies.
The Nine-Nine
Rush Escape Game Hawthorn
Escape room

Relied too heavily on tv show relevance and jokes rather than puzzles that were coherent and creative.
Steam-Powered S.O.S
KryptoScape Escape Rooms

Really well done room. Interactive and a variety of puzzles. On the easy side but it was just so fun we didn’t mind at all.
Escape from Seattle - The World's Fair Affair
Puzzle Break

The room had some cool puzzles, but the overall flow felt disjointed. While some technology used was impressive, it was a bit clunky. The game master was very involved, chiming in almost every few minutes to guide us to the next clue. This constant assistance made it clear that the room might be a challenge for many players to navigate on their own, perhaps this is a narrative flaw in the room. Still, there were some standout puzzles that kept us engaged. I wouldn’t jump to recommend this for a big group. Best suited 2-4 maybe.
