Flynn's ArcadeBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLReally fun escape room, especially if you like the Tron movies (but prior knowledge of Tron is not necessary). Our GM Jon was great at stepping in at the right time to give us hints and adjusting how cryptic or straightforward the hints were based on how much we seemed to struggle (you can also request no hints, but my team appreciated them). Puzzles themselves were pretty standard, but they were integrated well into the room and story. More physical than I expected, but nothing crazy (I would not consider myself to be in shape and was able to do them). We also really liked that the game is 75mins instead of the standard 60.
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLHighly recommend, especially for HP lovers!! It was super immersive, especially with the production design and technology. You really feel like you’re in the wizarding world. The interior was so cool; it was hard to believe it was just in some random industrial building. The plot itself was nothing extraordinary (just trying to find an object like most other escape rooms), but atmosphere was amazing. And I was repeatedly shocked by the special effects. Definitely some of the coolest effects I’ve seen in an escape room so far. The gameplay is pretty linear, so a group of 2-3 (maybe 4) is ideal (any more than that and you’ll probably have some people just standing around). You’re allowed unlimited hints, so you can ask for as little or as many as you want.
