I don’t like to think of myself as someone who scares easily, but there is one creative moment in particular that got even my heart rate going a little faster. Super fun!

The Cursed Carnival [Abandoned Carnival]Lock and Key EscapeEscape roomIRLI can tell my new love is going to be doing spooky escape rooms. I had fun with the room as a whole, but I definitely wouldn’t say that I ever felt truly spooked at any point during the game. This is not a bad thing. I still love a good episode of Scooby Doo as long as I am not counting on Paranormal Activity levels of fright. The story was fun and I enjoyed all the puzzles, with a couple being notably memorable. I also love when there are large changes to a room mid game. This delivers there. Lots of fun, probably my second favorite game at Lock and Key!
Eternity Battle: A Super Sequel Escape RoomTrapped Puzzle Rooms - North LoopEscape roomIRLReally fun! Made it through with a team of 5. Lots of really great moments throughout the game and fun puzzles we could work on as a whole group. This one is definitely worth trying out!

Loose SleuthPuzzleWorksEscape roomIRLNothing too special going on with the theme here, but this room had some of my favorite puzzles in the store as well as my absolute favorite MOMENT of the store.
The AnomalyPuzzleWorksEscape roomIRLThis room really has a unique concept: earning a score rather than a time. Instead of a straight 60 minutes, the game is broken into 3 chunks of 20 minutes each. If some puzzles are not completed by the end of those twenty minutes it results in a lower score rather than an “incomplete”. Interesting in concept and has some serious benefits, but to me it led to the game feeling somewhat disjointed, like doing 3 unrelated mini games. Still a really fun time though! I would recommend giving it a shot. All the puzzles (with the exception of one) were really quite fun. Current high score holders!
The Pharaoh's TombLock and Key EscapeEscape roomIRLThis one was fun. Puzzles were all enjoyable and the decor was neat. Nothing in the room particularly wowed me, but I did enjoy the chance to do some math logic!
Eliot Ness InvestigationPerplexity Games Escape Room – ClevelandEscape roomIRLThe theme was interesting, but the room really wasn’t all that much in my opinion. I didn’t really like a couple of the puzzles, and when all was done it didn’t feel like there was really much to the room. But hey, it was fun to be able to an escape room while visiting Cleveland.
