The PerfumerQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLI really loved the decorations and atmosphere of the game. There were a good mix of puzzles and one at the beginning that I personally have never seen before. My only issue was we were getting too many unsolicited hints from the GM. We didn’t explicitly ask for any hints and we kept getting interrupted by the GM steering us in the right direction.
The PyramidEscape Room LAEscape roomIRLI was really excited for this game but unfortunately the experience was completely ruined. The set design and overall theme was great but many of the puzzles didn’t work correctly or weren’t reset prior to us getting there. Also the GM was in the room with us and was too involved. He gave unsolicited hints and was telling us “oh you finished that now go do this.” We aren’t a super outspoken group so next time I’ll for sure preface by saying we want zero hints. He was also resetting the room behind us as we continued through the game. It really took away from the immersive experience.
