Bigfoot the Legend AwaitsIpanic Escape Room - St. CharlesEscape roomIRLUnique setting and cool effects since is played in a trailer, but is small so wouldn’t recommend more than 3 people. Lots of listening that takes time off the clock and clues that reference geography but the entire space is covered in maps so hard to know where actual information to solve is located until is found much later. Warning to people sensitive to smells.

Containment60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLthis room was pretty scary. i felt like something was going to jump around every corner. as a horror fan, i really liked it. pretty dark atmosphere but the flashlights really helped.
CSI: Orland ParkPsych Escape RoomEscape roomIRLgood theme. no feeling of completion or honestly any “wow” to the room. it was less than impressive. a bunch of papers and codes for locks. no puzzles. the gm was not very enthusiastic.
Doctor Death Escape RoomMind Trap Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLVery immersive. Really made it feel like you were in a haunted medical facility. Where you find your solution is not always in the same area where you apply that solution. Seems like no longer used props and buttons were left in the room that caused some confusion with our game. Ending felt a little bit abrupt and lackluster. Worth a play if you are already there but their other rooms are better. Note: they make you lock up your phone in a locker outside of the room. They don’t allow phone use at all in any of their other rooms either.
Duke's Farm60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLLOVED this room. set design is amazing. super cool and unique puzzles that fit right on theme. only thing my group didn’t care for was a sound puzzle that seemed to take up a lot of our time.
Law BreakersNo Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGood mix between finding and solving puzzles. The room was larger so it’s great for bigger groups.
Lockbuster Video60 to Escape - SchaumburgEscape roomIRLsuper cool concept. the room is very linear but it worked well as we only went as a group of 2. good puzzle variety as well. the storyline was really fun and i felt super engaged the whole time.
