2 escape rooms
I would not recommend this room. One of the mechanism had us pushing a power switch the under a desk that had a computer on it. There was nothing letting us know to push the button and it was a red power button. If it weren’t for a hint from the game master, I wouldn’t have dreamed of pushing it. There needed to be more story. All we got was “This is a heist, steal the Gettysburg Address. It’s in that case.” There was some audio that played during the room that was just not audible. I think it was supposed to be a security feed to amp up the the tension, but it was basically inaudible static. It wasn’t an issue with the speakers as we could hear the GM just fine. The final puzzle had no real direction to get to a solution. Because there was so little flow, the room just felt like a bunch of individual challenges. Of course, since none of the puzzle were difficult (at least that had a reasonable solution), if there was a flow, it would have been a 20 minute room.
Gameplay
It was a series of unrelated puzzles that didn’t really have anything to do with the next, except that they were around the same theme (civil war)
