With the enchanting lobby and stellar set design of the initial room, my high expectations for Pitfall were definitely not met. The puzzles were very linear, making it so even our team of two felt like a crowd. The GM switched part way through the game, and both were clearly not keeping an eye on our game. They also didn't follow through on their commitment to only giving hints when we asked for one, and the hints they did give were so big that it essentially solved the puzzle for us. We finished with 22 minutes left as a team of two, which further proves the over-hinting. The sound effects in the room were also surprisingly poor. You could clearly hear the track of mine sounds pause and loop, and the sound that was supposed to indicate room completion was so similar to the other sounds that as were only able to tell we were done because the screen said "success." All of that being said, the room was priced lower than many other rooms, and given that low price we didn't leave feeling like we were ripped off.
Some of the poorest GMing I've seen in a room
The theme is a creative idea, however the game master failed to present the theme to us, and we only knew the theme because we'd read about it online ahead of time.

One puzzle requires players to differentiate colors, and the room will be easiest for players comfortable with crouching. Also, a warning for people with arachnophobia or ophidiophobia.
They don't have their own parking lot, but there are many parking garages within quick walking distance where parking is $5 an hour.

We loved this room! We actually had so much time to kill before our other room that we thought we would stop in and see if they’d let us do another room walk-in - and they had this one available! It was super fun and well designed, and like Stephie said very immersive. We ended up really enjoying ourselves. The staff here is amazing and so kind and welcoming - we’re excited to go back and do the other rooms!

I really enjoyed this room! It had a cool twist on a common theme and was super immersive.
Nothing crazy special but good!
Great atmosphere.
Great GM.

Had some cool puzzle elements, but generally unintuitive solutions
15 separate 4-digit padlocks linked together in an arbitrary order, and whenever a new code was found we had to brute-force try it on several of them until one eventually worked
The GM was great but the hints offered were basically necessary to complete the puzzle

Game play significantly suffered because our game master was largely inattentive. There were several times throughout our room where it would take upwards of five prompts and three to five minutes to get a response from our game master. When she did provide guidance it was clear that she has not been monitoring our game or aware of the steps we had taken to that point. This caused significant frustration she appeared to not even be listening to our response to her clue.
