Buckle up and start the chase! Catch Me If You Can is the sequel to The Suspicious Farmhouse. We advise to play it in that order, but you can play in the order that suits you best. A violent criminal is on the run and no one can find him. After the bartender tips you off, you will be called in as an FBI team. The suspect was last seen in the pub: Hold’em Inn. That is the place where your research begins …. It is up to you to start the chase. Let’s hope you’re not too late…. Are you able to catch the suspect within 60 minutes or will he be one step ahead of you?

Catch Me If You Can by Next Level Escape Room Eindhoven was our first room of the day with a team of 4 experienced players (20+ rooms together). Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be a huge disappointment, especially considering this room has been a Terpeca finalist since 2019 (not reaching though in the top 100 ranking in the world) and had been on my wishlist for years. Let’s start with the positive: the room offers a unique environment and setting, especially in the last two sections, which felt more creative and immersive. There’s originality in the atmosphere, and you can tell it once had potential. However, that’s where the positives end. The room shows its age (8+ years) and suffers from old-school escape room logic, where difficulty is equated with how hard it is to find things, rather than how clever or satisfying the puzzles are. It felt like a searching marathon, with little reward for actual logical thinking. One of the puzzles in the second section was broken, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. Another area near the end was visually impressive, but far too cramped to enjoy or explore comfortably. We didn’t finish on time and were offered only 2 extra minutes, which felt more about enforcing limits than delivering a good experience. The entire experience gave off the impression of a business-first mentality, lacking the care, attention, and hospitality seen in top-tier rooms. The room also needs serious maintenance, as several elements felt outdated or worn. Not recommended, unless you’re curious and go in with very adjusted expectations. Expect a lot of frustrating searching and very limited time. A 70 minute version could vastly improve the experience by allowing players to actually enjoy what the room tries to offer.

Gameplay

The puzzles are old school and demands a lot of searching. Some area have a very tight space.

Atmosphere

This was the highlight of the experiencie. Second half mainly.

Customer service

Nice and polite. Only gave us 2 extra minutes, which is very little for a relatively difficult room, but for the wrong reasons. Searching.

Very good game. The decor was the standout for me! The puzzles were pretty difficult. I liked that. They were also not linear so it’s very fun to play as a group. I understand why it’s in the terpeca finalists every year. It is well deserved. This room should be a must play on every enthousiasts list.

Catch me if you can, the sequel to suspicious farm house (coincidentally our first room). The room was fun and had good puzzles and set design. The transitions from room to room were slightly lackluster but worked out. The end was a bit annoying.
