A solid escape room experience. I wouldn't say it would knock your socks off, but everything is very well done: the set is fun to interact with, the theming is quite strong and all the puzzles are good. My host was additionally fluent in German, which really added to atmosphere of having guards constantly trying to catch you in the act of escaping. π€£

A fun and engaging game from start to finish. Clever puzzles - some of them artfully handmade - and clear story that was engaging and appropriate to the WWII theme. Proves that you can create a great game with good puzzles, an immersive setting and good story - fancy technology wasnβt part of the game and wasnβt needed at all!

Great room. Non linear but flowed well. Smashed it as a team, no pondering time. Spotted things quick that could easily stump you for ages.

We escaped a German POW camp with a little help from our GM and another escapee's notebook! The puzzles were inventive enough but were all quite standard riffs on how to find a combination for the next lock. The barracks was quite straightforward. From there, the many threads in the officer's quarters felt quite overwhelming at first and seemed to indicate that the room was better suited for more than 2 players, but we did surprisingly well! We only needed the GM's help around three times, and we escaped in true action movie fashion with 5 seconds to spare. By far, the highlight of the room were the ambient noises of German soldiers shouting in the distance and the violent rattling of the door behind us as the timer dropped below two minutes and we were scrambling for the final puzzle! Escape Plan has two other rooms that we plan to do the next time we're in London, but with both marked harder than this one, and this one having been a close call, we may need more soldiers! πͺ

A really tactile experience that theyβve clearly put a lot of thought into design. Nothing too surprising, but really well crafted.

Maybe harder because there were only 2 of us, and some puzzles werenβt greatly signposted.

3rd escape room in London was a success! The Adventure Begins⦠is a brilliant nod to the film The Great Escape, sans motorcycle jump. Our game master Sarah was a wonderful host, and the puzzles and theme were fun!
