5.5/10 The Heist had unique and creative moments, but overall was a bit of a let down. The props and decor used in the room don’t add anything to the overall immersion. Our game master and rest of the staff did their best to improve this and we really appreciated what they added to the experience. The story was enjoyable, but the puzzles were pretty basic and straightforward. With what the price of this room was, we were definitely expecting more. Saying this, the unique moments definitely do stand out and help boost our overall score.

Great, manageable, challenging, well-designed escape room! I did this with a group of coworkers and we had a GREAT time, I have to tell you. I felt like it really lends itself to team work and if you communicate you can be successful. I got to control the cell phone to communicate with the game master who gave us hints and warnings of the time limit. Super cool added element.

This was definitely the most narrative driven room at Puzzle Parlour. This room had a fun introduction and a well integrated hint system. I'd imagine your enjoyment of this room would be predicated greatly on the gamemaster's execution. While the locations you visit here made sense with the plot, I feel like the excitement factor could've been increased if they replaced the office portion with some other part of a police precinct. Some of the puzzles didn't really tie into the narrative all too well either which broke excitement at times. While the police chief coming back helped build tension in the beginning, it started to feel gimmicky after subsequent visits as there didn't seem to be any real consequences. While the narrative started out with a bang and provided a great starting point for character interaction and immersion, the ending fell extremely flat. I'm also unsure if the bonus puzzles are still in effect as we finished early, but I did not get any indication that we were doing something extra. I also heard there were different endings, but I have no idea how that would be implemented here.

I love the interactive scenario of this room. You are given a cell phone to communicate with the "getaway driver" aka the game master. The room was fun and challenging definitely one if my favorites. They even had a bonus puzzle at the end.

Uniquely fun room because of the added element of stealth! Described by friend new to escape rooms as "exhilarating." Rare room where your actions have consequences & a live actor makes brief appearances. It’s nonlinear so great for larger teams! Puzzles were on the easier side for us, but that was superseded by the immersive feeling of being under pressure in the game's high stakes setting. Also, the bonus puzzle was an awesome touch and gave us a reason to pat ourselves on the back 😂

“he room design was built to feel like a locker room at a police precinct and it definitely did.“
“…A cleanly executed, well-thought-out standard escape room with a break-in twist...was a lot of fun.“
