In New Jersey folklore, the Jersey Devil is a strange creature said to inhabit the Pine Barrens. Descriptions vary, but most agree that the beast is a biped with a goat’s head, wings, and a forked tail. The Leeds family is at the core of the devil's existence. According to legend, Mother Leeds gave birth to her 13th child. She believed this child to be cursed, as it transformed into what is now known as the Jersey Devil. The last surviving family member of the Leeds family had allegedly gone back to the cabin where it all started, with the hope of expelling the devil and bringing an end to the horrors the creature has caused. However, we have learned that she has gone missing and reports indicate the Jersey Devil is more active than ever before. Our team has one hour before her trail goes cold.

This room was okay - I wish there was a rating between dislike and like - because this was just average. What makes me sad about this one is that I really think it has IMMENSE potential. Like the theme was genius so they get points for even thinking it up. I love that it's a real NJ themed room and it's spooky and a really good storyline. However, the execution fell sort of flat. We did the "less scary" version, and it was still spooky and had some jump scares. The puzzles were kind of confusing and it didn't feel very linear. Also the condition of the place and the decor definitely could have been better. I would have loved to see them really pour more effort into this room and treat it as a haunted house style decoration wise where things felt more realistic and high quality to make it a better experience. I love a room concept where you start separated from your team/partner but this one we were separated for way too long as Stephanie said. It would have been much more fun to have only one puzzle that separated us and then we could be joined back together.

This room is ~fine~. Not the worst, not the best. I love the concept here of a NJ themed escape room, but the execution was a little off. The puzzles were definitely really creepy, but to be honest I didn't love being separated nearly the whole time. I go to an escape room to spend time with friends and not be separated the whole time. Did this and Boardwalk Blast and won't be back.

Very interesting a tough room. One of the more average rooms we have done but it was still entertaining. Communication is very necessary. Small jump scares but nothing crazy.

Room is pretty immersive and themed well. Puzzles are intermediate/hard but game flows well and game masters are very helpful.

This was a very fun, well made escape room with high quality set design. Definitely spooky! But never scary. You are split into two groups so I’d recommend 2 or 4 people, but not 3 or your stray friend will feel lonely for a while!

Great concept, good puzzles and room design; didn’t like that our team spent 2/3 of the room separated
