Area 1: The Portal

The experience was fantastic from start to finish! The set and prop design were top-notch, with a lot of creative, unique puzzles and an atmosphere that kept us fully immersed. We really appreciated the staff's dedication; they were “on” from the moment we stepped into the car park and stayed in character all the way until we left, which added so much to the experience.

Project Immersive is not your average escape room, it very much lives up to its name. They have the perfect venue that lends itself to the world presented. The story starts from the moment you arrive and they have a very clever use of language to impart regular escape room information without breaking immersion in the world. Damian helped facilitate our visit, was very generous and lovely to chat to. For The Portal, our game master Tim was superb, effortlessly maintaining character and was on the ball to ensure our game ran smoothly. He was our first point of contact when we arrived and convinced us of the world we were entering expertly with a wonderful dosing of humour. The most suitable words to describe The Portal are beyond cool and next level. It has a great use of space, fun tech and very neat puzzles that make you feel like a scientist. There is a heavy focus on story facilitated by great voice acting and stellar sound design. The set and props were excellent. I wouldn't call this room scary but it promotes an uneasy sense of what's coming with great theatricality. We loved, loved LOVED this room. I just wish they had more experiences for us to try! This is the best example of a truly immersive escape room experience.

This was the first room i experienced at Project Immersive and it definitely sells the name of the venue! Had a great time and was a very new experience for our group of experienced players.

Such a well put together room and some amazing puzzles I’ve never seen or done before! Definitely in the top 5 favourites for me :)

This was a good escape room. Didn’t expect the experience to start in the carpark! I was very impressed with the storyline however I felt the puzzles to be underwhelming. This was still a good room overall. Would recommend others to experience this place.

Loved this room! Super immersive with puzzles we haven’t seen before! The location is easy to get to and helps with the theme! I look forward to getting back to do the other room

This experience was amazing. I really enjoy immersive experiences, and this has to be my favourite so far. The story, the puzzles, the aesthetics were so well made, and I still shiver just remembering the experience. I really wish I could erase my memory to play it from the beginning again.

I am a huge fan of escape rooms and would say I have pretty high standards - but Project Immersive just completely blew me away. It was incredible and really lived up to the name of being immersive. The game begins the minute you arrive where you are greeted by the game master in character, and the entire building and interior really adds to the atmosphere. The puzzles themselves were absolutely fantastic and you can tell they put so much effort into making the room realistic. Our team had the best time, and we especially appreciated the time our game host spent after the room explaining how certain puzzles work, the history of the building and how Project Immersive came to be! We are so excited to come back and play Nuclear Enrichment!! Thank you so much again for an unforgettable experience :)

I cannot recommend this room enough. The immersion starts before you even enter the building, and the interactions within the escape experience were SO, so good. Wickedly so. One of my favourite escape experiences to date! Unique puzzles and props found throughout the rooms that deepen the narrative and puzzle flow. It even has an exciting ending to the experience. I’m looking forward to playing anything they open!
