Warlocked

It was fun. The set design was superb. Two people in the group had never done an escape room before, but were still able to figure things out. The other three of us were more experienced, but still enjoyed it, even though this is an easy level. There were two parts where we had some tech issues, which isn’t great. The GM was energetic, knowledgeable, and animated. The parking is free, but a little hard to find since it’s at the mall, and there are a lot of parking lots. The parking graphic on the website was not very helpful, though the instructions were. My advice is to look for the AMC since that’s where the parking is. It kind of sucks that this location doesn’t pick up the phone, which means you can’t really talk to anyone if you have any questions. I enjoyed it, but there are definitely some improvements that could be made.

Brilliant room! Played this room with 2 players, I would say 3 would be the perfect size. If you play, I really hope you get AJ, she was awesome and very friendly. I will say if you don’t like receiving hints this isn’t the room for you. They say at the beginning of the game that basically you will go through the whole experience and the GM guides you with direction (not really solving the puzzles for you, but directing you to what puzzle to solve next). Go into this room with an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised. Each part of this room was beautifully decorated, and had a unique personality. There were 2 puzzles with some technical issues and the room is pretty nonlinear, so I would just switch to another puzzle if you run into that issue.

This room was just super fun! We did this as a team of two and were able to complete everything. The game guide was great at keeping us on task when we were struggling and enhanced the experience the whole way through (thanks Matt!!). The story telling was top notch. There’s two different sets of puzzles: ones that directly progressed the story forward and others that added flavor and gave resources for a later puzzle. The way they worked together was great. We didn’t complete all of them and I honestly think it was better that way as it added to the story at the end. All in all, a wonderfully fun room with great tech and setting that I’d recommend everyone play!

If you are larger than a stereotypical 14 year old, take them up on their offer to help you through the confined part

Production value unmatched!! One of my top 5 rooms I’ve done! The interaction, the thematics, the story, all so cool and so much fun! Highly recommend for families. Not because of the ease, but the entertainment.

Great room, especially for families. Loves the number of puzzles to solve (nothing over the top difficult - just lots of fun; but several we’d not seen before, either). Game master, AJ, made this one extra fun - good banter and personality. Highly recommended for a family escape room.

Loved how the flow was, there was puzzles to complete for the storyline and gameplay, but there was also extra puzzles for side quests and this served well for our large group to be able to divide and conquer. Really impressed overall by the story and the set design was meticulous. Made for a great way to end the night. ♥️

Wow, what a phenomenal room!!! First things first, the GM AJ made this an unforgettable experience. She was super in character and the perfect amount of helpful when it came to giving me nudges in the right direction. This room does so much right, from having incredible set design, adaptive sounds (probably due to AJ manually adjusting volumes but still), and my favorite thing: optional extra puzzles. I absolutely love rooms that have extra puzzles that you can solve, and in Warlocked, these extra puzzles fit seamlessly into the story and general progression of the room. This room had a lot of fun puzzles with cool elements that I haven’t seen before. It’s a great use of space and unique puzzles that had the entire experience feel cohesive and entertaining. An amazing experience that you should definitely play if you’re in the area!
