My biggest dissapointment of Athens. Great looking set but that was it. Some puzzles just didnt connect with us, the game with the actor wasnt thrilling to us. We did like the ending. The gm didnt seem to care too much

As a disclaimer, I'm not a fan of horror. I liked that this game was telling a story, and the set was very effectively creepy. The biggest annoyance for me was that at multiple points when we were solving puzzles, we'd get interrupted and need to hide, breaking the flow state. A minor problem was that as an American, I'm not used to rooms being dangerous - normally our games are well lit (or at least emergency lighting everywhere) and there's little chance of getting hurt. Plus, there's not usually an actor you're trying to get away from. Those combined to bite me here: at one point, the lights went out and I was trying to hide, but I misjudged where some furniture was and ended up with a cut over my eyelid, dripping blood. I was able to get the GM's attention pretty easily, step out and get patched up, and return to the game, but I could also imagine it having been more serious (e.g. if I had hit my eye instead of my forehead). To be clear, this was my fault - the actor wasn't actually pursuing us and there was no need to rush around blindly in the dark, but the stress from being in a horror environment caused me to have bad judgement.
I didn't like being interrupted mid-puzzle. Save it for between puzzles please, or make it an ongoing environmental challenge.

Loved it - a gritty, dirty room with very nice cinematic moments and sustained tension
