The catacombs of Paris are a popular tourist destination. The bony fragments of several hundred-year-old remains attract curious visitors from all around the globe. But lesser known to the public is what exists beyond the catacombs. A place so deep below the Earth’s surface, it has its own ecosystem – independent of the outside world. No one would expect so much life would exist in a place with so much death. And this is where things get messy. It is rumored that an ancient cannibalistic tribe lives beyond the catacombs. According to legend, These people feast on the flesh of unsuspecting tourists and curious teenagers. They perform black magic rituals and worship a figure resembling a jackalope. All of this is simply rumors. Nobody has ever seen these people…. Or at least lived to tell the tale. Meet Arthur, an Anthropologist from Jacksonville, FL, USA. Arthur became obsessed with the cannibalistic tribe of the catacombs. He flew to Paris determined to prove their existence. But that was several days ago. I’m afraid no one has heard from Arthur since. You are here because you are the best in your field. If there’s any chance Arthur is still alive, you are his only hope. I’ve arranged for a guide to take you down to the Catacombs, I don’t know how deep they’re willing to travel, but they can at least give you a head start. Your mission is to find Arthur and bring him home safely. Good luck on your voyage. You’re going to need it.

Half of my team decided to do Cannibals in the Catacombs - not my cup of tea. While they went through the experience first-hand, Joe offered the remainder of the team to watch and give clues on the other side. Such a unique, welcoming, and insane experience! It was so entertaining and fascinating to watch my coworkers solve puzzles and be scared. Catacombs is a well thought-out room too. Definitely recommend to those who enjoy that type of suspense and scare. 10/10 experience, will recommend to anyone who asks!!

Phenomenal game! If you are on the fence about whether or not to play it, play it! Plenty of scares, but if you're a fan of horror escape games, just maintain your composure and you'll be fine. Puzzles were great and fit the storyline as well. We've played over 100 games and this one's in our top 5!

This room was very exciting! Believe the warnings, there are intimidating factors to this room, especially if you’re easily scared. It was absolutely worth the money for a great experience. The game master was friendly and professional, and the room was so much fun!

This is the most fun my group has had in a room in a while. We’ve done a lot of rooms so sometimes it gets a dry or the puzzles seem redundant. This room broke that cycle for us and there was plenty for everyone to do - so in our 5 person group, no one ever felt like they weren’t getting to solve or participate. The live actor was incredible. The staff at Prototype is always high energy and fun - they love what they do and it shows. Creative, immersive, only downside is we can’t do it for the first time again. Definitely recommend!

One of the best rooms I have done.live Actors were amazing and all the puzzles were very smooth and all made sense. We needed a couple clues but over all it was a super fun and spooky room. 10/10
