The power surge that rocked Area 1 must be investigated. We need willing and expendable contractors to go into the dangerous reactor facility and wrestle control back from a disgruntled employee who has taken everything offline.

Really excellent room, super immersive in terms of atmosphere. The Paint Factory really sells the experience, the staff put on a great performance, and the room itself is full of interesting and tactile puzzles. It all feels very unique, very little in the way of typical combination locks and keys. You'll find yourself wondering how it's done. A little on the easy side with generous hints, but still amazing. Make sure to come with a good joke or pun prepared!
Extremely novel puzzles and mechanics.
Can't be beat on atmosphere, literally run out of a disused paint factory, nails the industrial lab vibes. Props and set design are top notch.
Staff really put on a performance from the moment you approach the entrance and create a story for you to engage in.
Yes
Super unique location, set design and mechanics.
Actors really draw you into a story, very engaging.

Very interesting tech, but you engage with it in a mechanical way.

Played just fine with 2, but more room for 3 or 4.
Not scary
Lighting is quite low and the location is a bit spooky, but the acting and story is too light hearted to be scary.

Sort of, room introduction has live actors, and the very end has some mild interaction.
Not at all
Nothing strenuous, just some mild footwork. Entry requires going up staircase though.
The room has quite low light throughout, though you can find a basic flashlight. At least one puzzle relies on colours.
Yes
Slightly non-standard entry, but staff will greet you near carpark/entry.
Easy
Small carpark available near entry, Google Maps takes you to it.

Absolute banger of a room. Heavy theming and theatrics. Tech and puzzles are there to move the story along, not be obstacles in your way. The immersion started in the carpark, and was reenforced immensely by the magnificent venue. Set dressing was A+. Eeeveryone needs to play this one.

The venue is amazing and the game flow is bang on.

Not because of the theme, more that the height of the game elements and the puzzle complexity would lead to very bored children very quickly.

Apart from the cold start, no.

The colour vision puzzle had a mechanic that displayed colours selected. There are steps up to the venue, and narrow doorways with ledges to step over. - definitely not wheelchair accessible. But easy enough for anyone ambulatory. I reckon theyβd pop a stool in if you asked them.

Project Immersive is not your average escape room, it very much lives up to its name. They have the perfect venue that lends itself to the world presented. The story starts from the moment you arrive and they have a very clever use of language to impart regular escape room information without breaking immersion in the world. Damian helped facilitate our visit, was very generous and lovely to chat to. For Nuclear Enrichment our game master August seamlessly took over from Tim (our gm for The Portal) after we solved our first "problem" at Area 1, they brought their own flair to the role and delightfully served us something a little more sinister. They facilitated the story with much aplomb and we loved that both scientist characters had a very distinct feeling from eachother. Nuclear Enrichment is still extremely story focused but felt a bit more like puzzle solving (which I loved) rather than the "doing science" feeling the puzzles in The Portal invoked. There was a stunning set and extremely authentic props and clutter but it was somehow still very intuitive to know what we actually needed to solve the puzzles and what was just theming, without breaking our immersion in the world. There was a stupendous use of tech, incredible sound design and a very beautiful finale. We loved, loved LOVED this room. I just wish they had more experiences for us to try! This is the best example of a truly immersive escape room experience.

Highly recommended. Ten out of ten atmosphere. Friendly and entertaining host. The rooms are in an old paint factory and the retro industrial charm of the building complements their mad science vibe. Puzzles are on the easier side but I found that worked well - more time to enjoy the experience of it.

Loved that the experience begins as soon as you enter the car park, the hosts are great at immersing you in the venue's theme from the moment you step out of your car! Would highly recommend these rooms to all players looking for something different!
Puzzles flowed well and had some fun interaction between systems that were novel to other rooms
Very immersive, definitely felt like i was actually in the space

Brilliant room, really immersive and takes you in from right from when you arrive. Itβs well done and executed and I love how it is in that big abandoned building and hall. Really fits the mood and the feeling is just right. Puzzles are more on the easier side and quickly done, also not too many. Would have liked to have a couple more. All in all a very good experience though :)

Immersive experience starts from the moment you arrive at the venue until the end! Puzzles are logical and flows well with some high-tech elements which is very cool. Some unique story elements which speaks to the creativity of the room! Our GMs add a lot to the immersiveness of the experience!

Loved it. The theatrics, the story, the aesthetics, the immersion. It was exciting throughout the whole time I was there, and I was enjoying every single second in the room. It was our second room we played here, but the staff were awesome everytime. I felt that everything was made and planned with love.

We did The Portal last month and we booked Nuclear Enrichment few hours after that. Thatβs how good Project Immersive is. We smashed the Nuclear Enrichment and we enjoyed it every second. The only bad thing is that they only have two rooms, which both are brilliant.

Area 1 is not an escape room, it is a mission out of an amazing facility. From the moment we arrived at the facility the mission began. There is no clock that starts, there is just the mission. The facility is massive and the vibe at night made the experience even more immersive. I highly recommend going after dark. The challenges to complete the missions are a great mix of puzzles, analogue tech and story elements. The faster you take on your role, the more success you will have on your mission. The Management are obviously passionate and run a facility that is far more than an escape room.
