A team of high-tech scientists and programmers have assembled to perform ground breaking experiments in developing the first instance of true artificial intelligence known to man. You have just been accepted onto the team of scientists and have arrived at their headquarters. After a few days you realise that scientists are suddenly leaving and that these robots are showing scarily human-like emotions. You decide that you need to leave as quickly as possible as something peculiar is happening, but all of the doors have been locked trapping you and the rest of the team inside. Can you all escape before you reluctantly become a part of the experiment?

The room itself felt old, with broken and worn-out puzzles that made it difficult to get into the flow. Instead of a smooth, cohesive experience, the puzzles were disjointed and clunky, requiring constant intervention from the Games Master. The clue system was outdated and unhelpful, lacking specific guidance, which caused confusion and delays. Every time we needed help, the Games Master had to step in personally, further disrupting any sense of immersion. To make matters worse, the room was anything but immersive. The props and set design were uninspired, and we could hear screaming kids from the laser quest activity next door. This constant noise was incredibly distracting and completely ruined the atmosphere, making it hard to focus on the puzzles or enjoy the experience at all. Given these issues, the overall experience was far from enjoyable. We were left feeling frustrated and disappointed, with no desire to return or recommend Escape Reality to others. If you're seeking a quality escape room experience, we'd suggest looking elsewhere. We hope that Escape Reality addresses these issues and improves the quality of their rooms, but until then, we can't recommend this venue. Save your time and money, and explore one of the many other escape rooms in the area that offer a much better experience.

“[Some sections of the game] have excellent quality, and the highlights manage to be genuinely cool.“
