Not many phone calls begin “Hello, this is the FBI. We need your help. Your landlord stole the declaration of independence.” You had just moved into your new apartment on the 13th floor (maybe choosing that floor was your first mistake). Little did you know that your new landlord watches too many treasure hunt movies and actually believed there was a secret message on the back of the declaration. The only thing more bizarre was that he was actually successful in stealing it. But now you have only 60 minutes to go to the apartment’s basement and beat your landlord at his own games or our country’s most prized possession will be destroyed and lost forever.

Really fun room. A theme we haven’t seen yet, and a few connections to the movie National Treasure if you’ve seen that (not necessary though, more like Easter Eggs for those familiar). A lot of puzzles that were clever and unique. The set design was adequate, but not elaborate. There were 4 additional tasks if you finished early.
It was a theme we haven’t encountered, with just enough references to the National Treasure movie.

We really enjoyed that there were some creative puzzles that we hadn’t seen before and some interesting double layering of puzzles. And the immersiveness right from the start of the play was fun. Nicely built out set appropriate to the story. And a fun way that they found to add a bonus puzzle if there is time. And everything worked! We enjoyed this a lot. ALSO if you solve the room, they donate $25 to the charity of your choice. They call it “Solve It Forward.” Very cool!
Some interesting and new puzzling, and always enough room keep all four of us busy. Not difficult but different and fun.
Set was realistic to the story and roomy, and the constructed devices weren’t fancy but were cool and different and all worked perfectly
The staff were awesome

Room was very fun and thematic with a great balance of challenging and charming puzzles
The room flowed well from being a simple starting to a puzzle fiesta near the finale
set was very well kept and in good condition. did a great job of making feel like the setting
GM was very welcoming kind and enthusiastic! had a good time talking about this and other games we both had played. very clear they are passionate as a player and a GM
Yes
Story of the game closely resembles a major movie with a similar premise but the execution and story vary majorly. the objective was fun and compelling and the puzzles made sense in context for the whole experience
The plot was very fun and had a fun twist ending that had us scrambling to solve the last couple puzzles
Hard
Room was pretty hard for a duo but we managed to escape with minimal hints. for newer players/groups this is a great room if you're looking for the next step up in difficulty
High tech

there are a lot of puzzles to solve so having 4-5 people would be a good balance where everyone can split off and work o their own thing.
