220 escape rooms
Look, enthusiasts could tear apart a lot about this room: The story is thin and cheesy, the game is extraordinarily linear, and some puzzles delivered on laminated sheets feel like they don’t fit the world. However, having played 130+ rooms, I’ve never felt so calm in a room. The atmosphere matches the theme, and it’s attempting to be polished, but lacking a little detail work. No matter: It’s a joy. The central console makes it clear what your progress is, and you always know what to do. Many puzzles have multi-layered, but a lot are iterations of logic puzzles. It’s fair but challenging, and it delivers a unique experience through its very atypical setting and the excellent progress console.
Great linear flow.
Not the most polished, but it was very unique in how zen it was. The water feature really was a nice, small touch.

Very peaceful and easy to slip into a puzzle trance.
Honestly, the intro video was laughably bad, but this game really isn’t about the story. The thin veneer of story and theme is just a facade for a bunch of puzzles.

Lots of RFID props, but even the locks were more tactile, using unique images.

Game was paused when it was discovered that a game reset issue caused us to bypass at least one puzzle. Additionally, the set had rock gardens that a puzzle sheet fell into. Our GM had to fish it out.
