Knowing there is no time to find cell phone signal your team is forced to follow the trail, which leads you to this old cabin but after knocking nobody will answer. Your Gut instincts says something's not right and he might be Locked Away inside. Can you find a way into the mysterious cabin and find who or what "remains" inside and catch the story you were looking for or will you run out of time and become the next story on the 10 clock news?

Honestly this would’ve been a pretty fun, not too hard room with a cool environment except for the fact that neither of us had opened a locker lock in a while and completely forgot one step of how to do it lol. We got the combination pretty quick and realized we were doing it wrong after a couple tries, but we had to ask for a hint multiple times and when we finally got one it was to something else so we went and did that but then just had to ask for a hint again when we got back to the lock because we still didn’t know how to open it. I think the GM was monitoring two rooms at once which was why she might have been less active in giving us hints, which was just unfortunate because it wasted a lot of our time and led to frustration. Only the second time I’ve seen a dial lock in a room and the last time they gave us a little review of it beforehand, so it would’ve been nice for them to do that here. Other than getting frustrated on that one lock, though, it was a fairly fun room with some classic and enjoyable puzzles.

So, today I found out my partner and I are not proficient at dial locks. Which is a weakness at our game. Unfortunately this location has a less than active GM so when we knew the answer but weren’t getting a lock open it started to build some frustration. Overall though, there are some fun takes on classic escape room puzzles, the atmosphere was good, and the story was easy to follow, albeit a bit gory.

My team and I had a great time playing this room! We needed a nudge to get started but that was it! The owner of this escape room is a set designer so we were blown away by the props and felt like we were actually in a cabin lost in the woods!
