Heed the warning but don't let it sway you from trying out this room! Our GM was super chill and nice! I can't believe we did the room without any hints (totally our fault for disregarding props) but very thankful for the GM for allowing us the few extra minutes in completing the room. This room will test critical observation skills, logical and lateral thinking, and will probably force you to work on your communication with the group. Also, kudos to the actor and video they used to introduced at the beginning of the game. It was of quality and didn't look like it was made by a random tween edited on their iPhone (iykyk).

A very immersive experience with well-scattered puzzles. They make use of the entire space. Every bit of decor has a purpose even beyond immersion. The game master was also friendly, in-character, and great at conveying information.

Very challenging room in comparison to your average escape room. Good theming. Old school lock puzzles, but extremely well executed.

Being on the TERPECA list historically, I think I wanted more from the room. However knowing it is an older room, it makes sense. We did this room as a two player team (with lots of rooms under our belt). We were still rushing a lot. Would recommend more players as it is a very large room. When booking we contacted the company and they were awesome working with us and making sure we had enough time in the schedule to accommodate us!

A clever non-linear room. My group of four experienced escapers attacked it with a divide-and-conquer approach and squeaked by with not much time to spare -- we were busy! People who know more about contemporary hip-hop might have more fun with the theming but no outside knowledge was needed, and we enjoyed that the room had such a strong and unique theme. Several fun reveals and layered puzzles.

Gameplay

A mix of lock-and-key and more unique interactions. Nonlinear, yet with a good flow and a focused ending.

Atmosphere

This might be the only room where being a little worn down / "well loved" actually fits with the immersion...

Fun unique game. Great mix of puzzles. A little on the older side. Meaning some puzzles were a little beat to. But without spoilers the theme was super fun and despite starting like a straight up Gen1 escape room, the game had din6ner surprises hidden for us.

Holy shit, this was difficult. I called ahead to check if it was okay for me and my two family members to go, and whether three players would be enough. They assured me it would, with some help or modifications to the puzzles. I think this room definitely requires at least 4 or 5 people. Regardless of the INSANE difficulty, I loved the theming and the novel puzzles.

To mirror what a lot of others have said, the hype is real for this room! We made the mistake of going in as only two people as was dumb and didn’t pay enough attention to room requirements. Let this be a lesson for others - this is a room that should at least four, but probably better with six people. That being said, with some help, we made it through most of the room before time ran out and the GM was kind enough to show us the solution to a puzzle so we could progress and have time to experience the rest of the room before we ran out of time entirely. I have a hard time believing this wasn’t an actual stash house that was converted into an escape room. The staging was entirely on point! The puzzles were so fun and drew upon a lot of west coast culture. They used more senses than typical escape rooms, which was a great addition. They were also really well thought out and flowed in a way that moved you seamlessly through the whole experience. Please, find yourself a group and do this room!

One of the more challenging rooms we’ve done, there’s a lot going on. We normally don’t try to do rooms with more than 4 people but this one would have worked with a few more. Loved the theme and how spacious it was also.
