You've been trying for months to infiltrate the Crimson Frame - the world's most notorious art heist ring. One of your contacts puts you on the right track. All you have to do is break in to the ring leader's private art gallery and slip away with her most prized art piece. Simple right? That's what you thought before you faced the security system, the dogs, the retina scanner, the laser field, and the unpickable locks. You have conquered all of that to find there is one last catch. Can your team get in and out in an hour, before the police arrive?

This room is fun! Good variety of puzzles with a neat gameplay feature that guides you on what goes where. Experienced and "switched on" players may find the overall difficulty to be on the easier side - playing as a team of 2 strikes a nice balance and makes the room still worth it. Others will get a good exposure to traditional escape room puzzles. Hence, suitable for anyone looking for a fun hour of puzzle solving. The gameplay is non-linear. While the immersion levels were basic (greeted by staff, rules/mission explained on TV), the room itself was decently designed for the theme and spacious enough.

Gameplay

Good non-linear gameplay that is smartly aided by in-game "lock-key" direction.

Atmosphere

Set design was thematic. But immersion was basic. Some art-galleryesque lighting could have elevated the atmosphere (although some people would appreciate the well lit space). The background music does help the theme though!

Customer service

Friendly and responsive GM.

Story

The premise sounds fun but it would have been so much better if some of the things they mentioned in the intro were actually incorporated in the game.

Difficulty

Easy

Easy for adepts. Medium for inexperienced players.

Game tech

Mechanical

Mostly number locks, alphanumeric locks, direction locks (no key-locks!) - they mention this to you in your briefing.

Ideal number of players

3

A team of 2 experienced and "switched on" players is enough - with each person solving a different puzzle to ride the non-linearity when desired. For others, group of 4 should be adequate.

We had a really good time in this one. It was on the easy side, but it flowed very well. It is an older type room, but was done very nice. Be prepared for some math and riddles.

Had an amazing time with the art heist, really loved all the puzzles and in room clueing. Seeing small symbols next to the locks helped us sort what combo goes where and was great advantage for the players. I also loved the way the space felt like an art gallery. The owners talked to us about the behind the scenes stuff and I will be forever grateful.
