I expected this room to be my least favorite at the Hampton location of Escape Artist but it actually ended up being tied for my favorite (I canβt decide whether I liked Help Wanted or Dark Lullaby more). This room flows wonderfully and the actors add a lot to the experience! This is a great introduction to the world in which the other rooms take place!
This was so much fun! Based on the room description, I assumed this would be the most βboringβ room at this location but I was proved wrong every second I was in this room. There were a lot of puzzles that flowed very well and didnβt take up an excessive amount of time.
Super immersive! The actors were great and added to the experience. The rooms themself were really effective for the storyline. Loved the soundtrack for the atmosphere too (it was giving Disney Tomorrowland vibes).
This location is unique because you arenβt really introduced to a βgamemasterβ. The character actors serve as the gamemasters and are all very in character and helpful in the rooms!

Unique concept and I love how it tied into the other rooms! If you have the chance, you should definitely do all three rooms at this location in the same day!
Very memorable, especially with the live actors and fun puzzles!
Hard
As someone who has done about 140 escape rooms, this room wasnβt incredibly difficult but was still challenging enough for escape room enthusiasts. For newbies, this room would probably be relatively hard.

Not scary
Some of the storyline is ominous but I wouldnβt really say that it was spooky.

There were basically two live actors in this room! This is not a scary room though so they arenβt there to scare you.

There were a couple of parts of this room that dealt with colors.

There arenβt a lot of signs to follow but if you follow your GPS, it isnβt hard to find.

This room was a lot of fun and had multiple actors involved. This place really raises the bar on how escape rooms are ran and I love the attention to detail and personalizing the story line.
Karissa was delightful and funny.

You should go to any Escape Artist Greenville room for the immersion and the character interactions. Help Wanted is no different. The puzzles here were well done and unique. This room's story is tied to the Dark Lullabye story, but this one is not as scary.
Fun and novel. All of the choices made good sense.
Immersion is the strength in all Escape Artist Greenville rooms.

The game was incredible! The waiting room was even super immersive, and the game was brilliantly tied together with Dark Lullaby. The actors had just the right amount of involvement and were great when they needed to improvise. The setting of the game was perfect for the theme.
A couple of the puzzles were a little less immersive/diegetic, which tripped us up a bit, but otherwise the gameplay was fantastic. There are some super unique puzzles in this room!
They knocked it out of the park - one machine in particular and the super creative use of video were mindblowing.
The owners were sooooo kind! They had no problem wearing masks for me since I am high risk and they were so welcoming to my husband and me. they accommodated us adding this room to our booking last minute with no issue.

The plot was super memorable and forced you to play a particular role with the opportunity to be a hero... or not.

Mix of both, but the use of tech was stunning

We played with 2 and it was fine. 3 or 4 would probably also work, depending on the folks with you.

This room could be a little unnerving for an anxious kiddo.

Something mechanical wasn't working -- we were pretty sure we'd done the task right. In just a minute, one of the owners came in pretending to be tech/maintenance for the company we were pretending to be employees of, and fixed the problem quickly and in character!

Some puzzles definitely required being able to see and hear well, but I'm sure the company would work with you on accommodations.

This is an awesome escape room. The theme/story is very unique and fun. But the highlight is how well they do character interactions in the game. Some of the characters are real people and some not, but both SO well done. And yet, thereβs still so much left to you to solve. (In contrast with The Bureau in Orlando which I felt had too much leading.)
Awesome theme/concept. Awesome interaction with characters both real and generated!
From the minute you check into your escape room, you feel like youβre in the game (except they do a good job so it doesnβt feel like a game). Cool integration!

We were advised that 2 players would make it difficult to finish. We did finish with seconds to spare though. But probably a good size would be 4.

Rating: 5/5 LOVED the immersion here, the experience starts from the lobby and even explanation of the rules does not take away from the immersion. We played as a team of 2 and definitely could've used 1 or 2 more people though we still made it with time to spare. The actors were so much fun and added to the immersion, they were the highlight of the room but were not in there the whole time. Between this room, Dark Lullaby, and Starlight Motel, this one was our least favorite but it's still excellent. I think it's because the set wasn't as interesting and we didn't vibe with the puzzles as well. You definitely should play this room before Dark Lullaby though as they are related.

We loved how the moment you walk in the escape roomβ¦ I meanβ¦ office, you are already immersed into the game. We did this one with 2 adults and 2 kids. We didnβt do great but had a great time! Nothing bad to say.
