Old Man Foole has left behind a wealth of minerals and jewels, the kind that would help the Professor run experiments for years to come! He just needs a bunch of ne’er-do-wells for a little heist… That’s where you come in! Prepare for Clockwork Escapes’ most ambitious game yet (and, quite possible, the Professor’s new favourite): A heist to steal as much gold and jewels from Old Man Foole’s mine and escape with your bag full! At the end of the run your bag will be weighed and you will be added to the Score Board to see how you did versus all of our other tricky thieves. Time for a room that’s just as physical as it is mental, pushing, pulling, throwing, lifting, are all important here, so be ready for it. And yes, it’s pretty dark in the mine, but with far more light than Alleyway, don’t you worry. Times have been tough in 2020, my friends, but this one will make business pick up. After all: This idea is a Gold Mine!

Another fun room - very dark at the start, but I guess that’s part of the vibe and makes things run a bit slower so you don’t go speeding through! Some really impressive sets and features too! Played as a 2 but would have benefitted from a third person, as we only just got out in time and missed a certain part of the room!

I do love a game that has you using the whole of your hour. First time in a while where I felt a third player would have really helped us. The intentionally dark and dusty set is not scary in any way but might put some off - personally I loved it. Some great ah-ha moments and a great in character Gm
We played this as a two. The set (and interaction) with the set is great. Its the first time for a while where i felt that a third player would have really helped us - you almost need a person on a permanent search and find! In the end, we were ‘out’ with about 6 mins to spare but spent ages collecting bits of gold. As usual, our sub-par search and find stopped us scoring too marks! Happy with our 12000 haul though 😊
There’s no getting around that this room is (intentionally) dark and shadowy. That clearly suits the theme and impedes your secondary challenge of collecting the fools gold. I always love it when you suddenly twig that certain puzzles may need a second use and you have that moment of, “Really?! Ahhhh.”
A great example of an in character GM - he clearly knows the game inside out and we were grateful of being steered back on track once or twice when down a bit of a rabbit hole.
