I really wanted to like this room. It gets so many good reviews/Recommendations on Morty, TERPECA & REA. In addition, the room requires a minimum of 4 and one of us was a newbie (first room), so I really thought it would be a awesome for him. The vibe, atmosphere, immersion, room decor weβre all great. Some of the puzzles were good. Having each of the players assigned a role in specific task was cool, and I wish that the game had invested more in that, where each person at some point in the game, got to step up and solve a puzzle while the other people helped. Did not really work out that way though. What was not great was the flow: there were times, we needed nudges. Not hints on how to solve a puzzle, but where to go from our current step or what was the next logical step that would lead us to the next puzzle. That is not a good thing. In addition, the biggest problem: I was genuinely shocked when we got out in what seem to be a very short amount of time. As it turns out, we were able to bypass three puzzles. We just solved around them or skip them, and that should never be. Post-room, we found ourselves telling the newbie not let his experience sour him on future escape rooms.
Sigh. see my main review. Flow felt stunted & we constantly needed judges. Too many bypasses.
I liked it. It felt like we were in a mine, semi-Fallout.
Always welcoming

Urethane was interesting. I like that we were all assigned different responsibilities and roles
I think we were trying to find some lost artifact?

One item did not work requiring game master to come in. Slow itself is broken because puzzles were able to be skipped.

There are some color clues and a puzzle requiring you to check out different areas between two rooms, but relatively overall accessible

This room was just okay. The ambiance was fun, but the gameplay was too easy for four people. Two would have made this more of a challenge. The game master also gave us hints CONSTANTLY, making it so that we never really had a chance to puzzle things out on our own or tackle a challenge. At one point, in attempting to solve a puzzle, an element of the game got stuck and we had to leave the room while they attempted to fix it. They did not pause our time while they took 15 minutes to do this, and even then our group escaped with 15 minutes to spare. I could see how maybe 5 years ago this was a cool room, but it feels simplistic and unsophisticated now. I don't recommend.

some tech, but not well-used.

One of our favorites of ALL TIME!! Best prop ever. Clever and thoughtful. Great staff. Obviously put together by people who love escape rooms.

It was fun, having the team split at the start and the metal detector were a nice addition. Some puzzles were not needed so we back tracked. The end of the puzzle was slightly disappointing to me, but overall enjoyed the unique aspects of the game. Ended with more than enough time remaining.

The atmosphere was cool and the gm was friendly. It is a unique experience. Some of the puzzle are unnecessary which was a frustrating waste of time. But overall it was fun and the kids were able to help.

7/10 This room is fun but does NOT need 4 people. Unsure why it requires 4 when it is completely doable with 2 people. The space is small and 4 gets tight in some spots. Nice puzzles and set design but leaves a lot to be desired.

I think this game is my favorite at Steal and Escape. Everyone raves about The Missing Season, but I think this one is the better game. Both are good. Some unique puzzles I haven't seen before.

Split start and communication is a must!!! Puzzles were good and some were pretty unique for us. Your team has different roles which added to the fun but everyone can provide assistance to keep the momentum of the room flowing. We really enjoyed this and ending was satisfying. Weβve done all their rooms now and this is supposed to be their toughest. Steal and Escape does a good job. They try their best to make you part of the story and allow choices to affect your experience.

This room is not purely time based. There's fuel and based on the number of lights you have, the faster your fuel runs out. Split start is super awesome, loved it. There's some computer based puzzles which I thought were really fun (i am a software developer), with roles given to each player (and i got programmer LOL). I don't really have that many qualms, idk what jlions13 problem is.
