Before playing this game, the Cross Roads staff shared with us that this was the first game they have ever made! It is a low tech, lock and key room but the original hint system makes this one a memorable experience on par with their other rooms. My group played the adult version and the puzzles were challenging. I do tend to overthink puzzles so we had a harder time getting started but once we did, we sped through the rest. I could imagine this being difficult to do with only 2 people, so I would recommend at least 4 people to run around the space and split up. I love the carnival theme and Iβm curious as to how they change it up for the kid version.

I played the room with my family (group of 5) we all had lots of fun and the room was non-linear so there was plenty for us to spread out and do. There were a large number of physical locks and puzzles but it didnβt really take away from the experience. This is my second room at Cross Roads and I will definitely be coming back to finish the set!

Our GM Zakk was lots of fun before, during, and after the room.

Loved this escape room! I was a bit wary that it would be childish or cheesy or lame, but there were jokes and stuff that legitimately made me laugh and I enjoyed the puzzles and their difficulty level. Only cheesy/kiddish like once or twice, not the whole time. They also mentioned that it can be altered to cater towards age 9 - 13, so it's a great game for people of most ages. Decor was also really awesome, don't forget to look at the ceiling when you first walk in. Niko was our gamemaster, he did a great job with the character voice and the hints being given in character as well. If you're hesitating, just do it cuz I had a lot of fun and you would too :) (pls ignore the emojis on our photo, none of our faces were ready hahah)

You just have to walk from room to room
Mobility- completely accessible, everything is on one level except for a little stage that you need someone to grab something from a couple times. Expect standing the whole time and moving from room to room many times back and forth. Hearing- no audible games necessary so perfectly good. Vision- no excessive amount of vision needed; everything is at eye level/big enough for the average person to see. Color blindness- there are two puzzles that require color matching.

We LOVED this room! I packs a lot in a smaller footprint and the game master was EXCELLENT at creating moments of play and whimsy throughout the hint process. They were very patient with our 2 player team (me and my 9 year old). The surprise and delight of the reveals is great - can't reccomend this room enough.

We had a blast - we signed up for the "kid version" with our 7 year old. It sounds like we could have don the regular version and asked for the kid coin challenge added and I think that would have been perfect so we got to experience all the puzzles. Even with the easier version we had so much fun and would highly recommend this game to anyone. Our game maser Kaylie was amazing.

Overall this is a super fun and well produced game! We played the adult version with pre-teen and teen kids. It was a just the right level. It is a very low tech and lock heavy room. It has a cute and original hint system that made for some funny moments. Side note: If you have any people/kids in your group who are shy or sensitive to being embarrassed, I suggest you mention it to the game master before you start the game. Overall, I recommend this room for family fun.
