Le Secret des Dunes [The Secret of the Dunes]

Set and puzzles are decent, though not outstanding. Some elements are worn, and (at least) one thing is mistranslated in English (the French version has 4 different lines, but the English version repeats one; it seems like a copy/paste error). I would be mildly concerned about fire safety in one part of the game, though it's probably fine.

Fantastic immersion, cool tech, and some very fun transitions between sets! This was the first of three rooms my friend I played at Double Tour during our Quebec City visit and it set a high bar for our next two rooms (so it’s even more impressive when I say they were equally amazing!) Love how the DT GMs commit to their character, haha. Can’t rec this one enough and am excited to come back and finish the rest of their rooms!

My favorite room at ADT. The atmosphere is incredible, with stunning decor (true to ADT’s style), all enhanced by our game master, who’s always fully immersed in their role. The puzzles make sense and are just the right level of difficulty. The transitions between rooms are brilliant, and there’s a lot to explore in a room that’s actually quite small. I highly recommend Dunes!!!

If you have any physical limitations, I strongly suggest you call to ask for more information. There’s nothing mentioned about that on their website. Otherwise, the game was interesting. There weren’t really any locks—which, for me, is a plus!
