The Perfumer

Again another amazing unique room with fun puzzles I’ve never completed before in an escape room.

Truly one of the most immersive escape rooms I’ve ever done, The Perfumer delivers in every way a good escape room should. The build spans multiple rooms and multiple levels, the effects and puzzle pieces were realistic, and overall the puzzles themselves were satisfying and intuitive. Our gamemaster Anthony was funny and a great addition to an already stellar room. With pieces that we could climb and props we had to physically build in order to use, this experience shows how inventive and immersive escape rooms can be.

Overall, it was an okay room. I went with my usual group of four. I felt like there wasn't as much to do in this one. It just took us awhile to solve some puzzles, but there weren't as many puzzles as other escape rooms. Set design and props are solid and fit the storyline well. You need a decent nose for one puzzle. Our GM was enthusiastic but also a little hard to understand at times haha.

Although we didn't complete the room on within the time, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience! It's interesting how they connected the game to the themes of the movie. The slightly immersion details of their puzzles, combining logic and sensory details was a great change of pace. The only thing that caught us was at the end. Technique for process of elimination will serve you well to save on time.

One of the best rooms ever !

Top notch atmosphere and quality of room. 10/10! The puzzles theming and story flow were 10/10 as well but the puzzle solutions were a little fiddly 7/10. The room itself was very well built and felt very solid and real with a lot of fun surprises! PJ was an amazing GM and her French accent was flawless :D!

This room was such a pleasant surprise! The theme was on point, and the immersion was fantastic. Our game master Ryan made the experience amazing! Some fun, surprises and enjoyable, challenging puzzles. Very satisfying!

Again, super immersive room! There were some puzzles which were quite delightful to solve, and moments where I was impressed with the set and props! The smell puzzles were fun! That being said, this room is old and it really shows in some of the puzzles, which ranged from “ehhh” to being a downright drag to solve. It was also quite dark, which added to the ambience, but we only had one candle and that made it hard to split up and do stuff. The theme is freaky but the actual room itself isn’t scary, just has some freaky vibes, which I personally rly appreciated since I am afraid of everything 😌 I still had a great time, but it’s not on my must-do list.

The atmosphere of this room was really cool, definitely had some big WOW moments!! Our GM was great too, very fun! The only thing I will say is that it’s a bit too dark. I know that it’s to add to the atmosphere, but extra and/or brighter lamps to explore with would go a long way!
