Legend has it that eons ago a dragon and phoenix found a large shiny stone by a stream. The dragon diligently honed it into a pearl glowing with prosperity. The phoenix then infused it with fire and the essence of longevity. Attracted by its fiery glow, a heavenly queen ordered her guards to descend to Earth to steal it one night as they slept. Upon learning of her treachery, the enraged dragon and phoenix flew up to the heavens to retrieve their beloved pearl. But as they scuffled with the queen, the pearl fell into a deep lake and was lost. An antiquities dealer found the mystical pearl during a recent expedition. He crafted it into a powerful amulet that has blessed him with good fortune and health. It's well hidden in a special room and protected by 12 exotic mechanisms inspired by the animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Your team of treasure hunters have managed to sneak into that room. But can you deactivate the challenging security system and steal the flaming pearl before being caught?

We absolutely loved this room! From start to finish it was beautiful, flowed well and was exciting. Some puzzles were challenging, but we loved that it was all high tech and represented the room well. Would highly recommend this room to anyone!
Great flow to ensure you didn’t get completely lost and kept you on track.
Atmosphere was fantastic. It was set beautifully the minute you walked in.

The theming of this room was nice and the space was used well however found that it fell a little bit short in terms of some of the play elements. This room is very linear in which you are guided to work on certain puzzles at once, these puzzles are also in isolated areas so do not need to do much searching kind of making it feel more like a puzzle room then escape room. Some of the puzzles could have been better worked to incorporate with the theme but overall definitely a must do escape room on the Gold Coast. We played as a group of two experienced players and finished with plenty of time left with no hints, but would be suitable for groups of 3-6.

This was by far one of my family’s favourite rooms, we are a team of 3 and completed it with minutes to spare, the quality of props and puzzles in this room were just outstanding, it was so satisfying and exciting to go from puzzle to puzzle, I wish there were more rooms like it. It’s so different to other rooms but hard to describe it without giving too much away. I was actually shocked to see a negative review about this room as I can’t imagine anyone doing this room and not loving it.. we have completed most escape rooms on the Gold Coast and Eclipse are by far our favourite rooms☺️we can’t wait for new rooms ☺️

The Flaming Pearl is a great room room with excellent theming and stunning props. It has a very well designed, intuitive puzzle flow with a huge variety of puzzles, all on theme.

This room was outstanding! The puzzles were very unique, challenging but made sense and were so satisfying to complete. There is a good flow with flexibility for multiple people to find things to do while having a coherent story to play through. Props and furnishings felt really high quality and, possibly since the room is newer, everything is in pristine condition. Great ambience and mood overall. Super nice game master, you can tell this is a passion project and not a low effort corporate slapped together room. Will be back to do the rest of their games!

This room was great! Utilised a theme that is very unique, something we hadn’t experienced before and the room was decorated to match the theme perfectly. The incorporation of the wheel was an intricate way to help determine which puzzle to focus on and it worked well with the story. Lots of different puzzles throughout this room which all came together nicely at the end. This room was huge and there was a lot to get through, I’d recommend groups of 3 but it was doable with 2 experienced players. Overall another nice room from Eclipse, and we can’t wait to see what’s next

I just finished The Flaming Pearl, and wow! I was incredibly impressed by the number of puzzles and the fantastic theming. The puzzles struck a perfect balance between challenging and accessible, allowing us to progress without getting stuck on a single puzzle for too long. The variety kept the game engaging and exciting throughout. Well done, Eclipse! Keep creating amazing rooms like this!
Such a great flow with the board showing you exactly what to focus on rather than wasting time on puzzles that aren't yet ready.
Once again, theming absolutely on point. Fully immersive.
Staff are super friendly and informative.

This game has no flow, there is a giant wheel telling you which puzzle to work on. then the wheel changes when you finish it to show you another puzzle even though all the puzzles are visible and in the room with you from the start, and some can be solved even though not meant to be, no storyline and broken puzzles made the room boring. no satisfaction from solving puzzles either as the wheel just changes colours to show you’ve solved it. Would recommend playing different room at this venue over this one

Felt disappointed coming out of this experience. Multiple puzzles were broken, causing game master intervention. They did say beforehand a puzzle had broken but when in the game it was clear that it was more than one puzzle. The game play itself was erratic with no clear flow other than a light up wheel which tells you which puzzle to complete next. However multiple puzzles are solvable before their time. It felt like playing a room where the designer had a bunch of unused puzzles from previous rooms and tried to throw them all together to make a room. There wasn’t much sense of achievement when completing a puzzle, as you just look at the wheel to be directed to your next task. Props and set design felt a little cheap. The game master after completion told us that most teams don’t make it out as the room is too hard. I don’t think the puzzles are hard, but the lack of flow and signposting makes them confusing. Along with a huge amount of props that are not part of any puzzles and just for looks, I can understand why teams may fail through no fault of their own.
