I thought Inferno was a fine game but not one that stood out to me. The set is better than average, there were some unusual elements, and puzzles were fine.
I'm used to some suspension of disbelief around escape room puzzles (and many games offer only a flimsy pretext), but even by those standards, there were some puzzles that seemed unmotivated in terms of why they were there (other than giving us something to do, of course).
Story

4 enthusiasts felt good, 3 would probably have been fine. There's one section that I don't know would be physically doable with 2.
