The Dark Room: Trapped in a mysterious dark room with cryptic symbols on the wall, we had to discover the secret of what happened here and find our way out safely. The Experiment: A scientist has disappeared leaving his experiments incomplete. We had to finish the experiment and discover the truth of what happened to the professor. Pros: The Dark Room puzzles were challenging but we worked our way through the process with limited guidance. The storyline for the Experiment was very interesting and unique. We really enjoyed the puzzles in this room which were tied into the overall theme. I was most impressed by the fact that we actually learned a bit of history and science in the process. Kudos to the game designer for proving that education can be fun. The game master was helpful and attentive. We appreciated his enthusiasm and referrals to other area escape rooms. He helped generate excitement about the scavenger hunt challenge designed to encourage us to visit other escape rooms. Cons: The set design was fairly basic in both rooms and did little to add to the ambiance. We struggled with the logic of a few of the puzzles in the Experiment and required a few more hints than usual. The Dark Room seemed fairly straight-forward but we could have used more flashlights. Escape rooms are no fun in the dark!

Super fun game! Really spooky vibes. I’ve done a few that try to get eerie and this is the only one I’ve done so far where I was genuinely creeped out. There’s a few puzzles I didn’t love, but I’m willing to overlook that for the great vibes. If you’re going to do this one, I’d temper your expectations. If you think you’re going to get a Rabbit Hole Recreations level of gameplay, you’re not. If you’re looking for a good, spoooooky way to burn an hour, this is your game.

Meh. Our room wasn’t setup as we walked in. The GM had to lock up stuff in front of us. Kinda took the element of surprise away. We didn’t really care for this room. The staff are always great, though.

Hard
ONLY because it’s a pitch black room with purposefully dimmed flashlights.

Room is fine not really great but nothing bad, the story is pasted on and really only one puzzle to work on at a time

The title says it all - you’re literally in a dark room with dimly lit flashlights. I liked that aspect of it since I’ve never done one like that before, but overall a little underwhelming. We were able to solve one of the last puzzles by simply guessing, so not a hard room. Only hard part is finding things since it’s pitch black.

This room was just meh for me. It didn’t have a good story arc, very little attention to design, and average puzzles that were mostly hard to solve because you’re in a dark room. The room wasn’t set for us prior to arriving and we watched the game master lock up the second room in front of us. Generally lack luster.
It’s fine. The challenge here is really navigating the space in the dark with fewer lights than people. I’d rather have more puzzles or more difficult puzzles than be impaired by lack of light. I didn’t choose this game, so perhaps that’s made clear in the booking.
Staff was really nice. Maybe a little… casual. But friendly.
