Come revisit or discover this new version of the Cadavera Affair. We have modified Montreal's most famous exhibition to allow you to experience it from a new angle. Lord Fitzwilliam Cadavera was found murdered in his Manor on May 3, 1931. Investigators concluded that the culprit was the Manor's maid, Mrs. Maille-O'Neil, who always maintained her innocence. Some say that the investigation was nothing more than a crude farce and that some evidence was deliberately excluded. After decades of being sealed, the office where this crime was committed is finally open to the public. You might even sharpen your detective instincts there.

Very fun mix of Escape Room and Investigation. This is the first Escape Room I've made that is a single room, yet it managed to be dense enough to make for a good hour and yet not too cramped. Very good work.

We were 6 people, used to escape rooms. Flow was clunky, riddles were so linear, we mostly had to wait for people to solve them before moving on, which made the whole thing very slow and a bit boring

A murder mystery style game that is fun to deduce as a large logic puzzle. Definitely a fun way to get the back story of the whole manor history. Great checkpoints and fun interactions with our host.

We did really.enjoy this one. Combined a typical escape room with an investigation, which was fun for us. The only problem that I had with this room is the ending was a little too ambiguous. We had to ask our GM if our answer was right because when we submitted it we had no idea if we were correct or not, but aside from that this was a very solid and well executed experience.
Game play flowed very well. Some puzzles were reminiscent of others that we had seen before, others were things we had never seen before.
Set design on this one was tight. But I feel the concept limits the ability for the REAL immersion that we usually go for.
GM was amazing throughout the entire experience at The Manor. We loved the way that it never felt like we were "doing an escape room" so much as looking for clues.

(I'm an Ezkapaz employee) I just played the "V2" version of the Cadavera case, and my rating has changed, as has my opinion of the game. It used to be a blue thumb, and now it's a yellow thumb. The game hasn't changed much, but the updates make a big difference in my opinion. New, more up-to-date puzzles that enhance the room, as well as a clearer story and objective that I really love. If you’ve already played the game before, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend coming back to play the room again, especially since more than half the puzzles are the same. However, if you’ve never played this room before, I highly recommend it. Good gameplay, good puzzles, and a concept that, surprisingly, you don’t see very often—at least not in this form. 6/10
