Permanently Closed - The sun is shining, the skies are clear, and the ground is covered in fresh snow. It’s the perfect day to go skiing with friends. You look out into the abyss of white mountain tops and frosted trees as you begin your run down the mountain side. Suddenly you hear a deep rumbling quickly escalation in the distance and instantly recognize it as an avalanche! You race down the side of the mountain trying to escape the avalanche’s path when you unknowingly venture into uncharted territory. Just as you believe you’re safe, the ground gives from underneath you, bringing you down into a deep crevasse. Now trapped and injured, you must find help fast. Did any other skiers fall victim to the avalanche and need rescuing too? As the sun starts to set, so too does your chance of being rescued. Do you have what it takes to survive the icy wilderness and harsh winds of Landford Mountain?

The game was 45 minutes, which messed up our cadence as escape room regulars. Terrible overall.
It was beyond janky. Everything felt old and worn. There were so many “do not touch” directions stickers that it was hard to believe that we were in an avalanche. The game master had to enter the room to give us a clue because they don’t use an intercom, which ruined the feel that we were in an avalanche.

This was our first escape room ever in 🇨🇦! We were not disappointed with the challenge of this room! Escape rooms in Canada seem to never be for the weak of heart with the 45 minute time limit (instead of the usual 60 we get in 🇺🇸). With that being said, 🇨🇦 takes it to a whole other level! Avalanche was so fun and the amazing props/puzzles/storyline made this an absolute blast! We needed a few hints as it definitely wasn’t easy, but we managed to escape before our time was up!
