ATTENTION. THIS IS NOT A TEST. This is your direct-support Radio Operator reporting the formation of a severe Arctic Storm off the coast of Siberia. All stationed personnel should immediately seek shelter in a class four base or higher. Initiating safety-protocol 118. Commencing auto-lockdown. IMPACT IMMINENT. DISPATCH TERMINATED. The station’s storm vehicle is built to withstand forces of 120 mph winds and is your sole chance at surviving a storm of this caliber. Teeny-weeny problem! – the vehicle has sat dormant for nearly a decade. With no fuel, no battery life, and no access to board without necessary overrides, all recourse of survival is few and fleeting… Will you make it to safety before THE FINAL MELTDOWN?

Pros: Theme is amazing, it’s so good that you feel immersed into the environment! It was definitely hard not to look around and stay focused on the tasks. We loved how everything was well designed and thought out! There was also a ton of puzzles/locks for everyone in the party to get involved with. The amount of physical activity was light to moderate depending on who you ask in our party, all though enjoyable nonetheless. Cons: The puzzles weren’t very challenging for us, there were just a lot of them. We weighed these as a con because we value the gratification of solving a hard puzzle over multiple easy ones. At the end we all discussed how some of the puzzles were solved without completing the physical task we were required to do to get our answer, which took a little bit from the experience (But we did them anyway). Towards the final part of the room there was a puzzle that was finicky and required using a tool/object at a precise angle (which was annoying) despite having the correct answer/solution. Apart from the few cons of the room, we thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend doing this one if you’re a fan of being challenged to solve physically active puzzles and doing lots of them. Game Master Review: We typically remember the name of our game master, but this one wasn’t really one we were impressed with. It certainly felt like she was more bothered by us rather than welcoming. This was definitely a surprise to us considering all of the great reviews we’ve read about this company. I mean, we drove over 4 hours and 300 miles just for this place. Not only did we reserve two rooms with 5 people, but we had a third planned that we decided to skip because of the game master. However, we all understand that anyone can have a bad day so we won’t judge this place based off just one employee so at some point we will be back to do the others. Overall: This is one of the nicest/well designed rooms we’ve been to in all of Florida. We can tell a lot of detail and work went into this one and we loved this about the room. The flow was very nice and every time we solved a puzzle or unlocked a new door there was more things for everyone to do as we progressed. The transition from room to room was both interesting and exciting. This experience required communication and a good amount of coordination which we all enjoyed. Also, all of the objects/items were fully functional and maintained well. As far as the amount of time allocated for this room is concerned, we all think it was a good value for what we paid for considering there was tons of activity for each person in a group of 4 or more. Things we wished were better or felt could be improved: Game Master! As noted above, this was probably the only negative of the day/night that stood out. Although, she’s wasn’t a part of the room, she was part of the experience which is why we knocked our overall experience down .5 points. Experience Rating: 7.5/10
Adventurous and Physically Fun!

Absolutely amazing theming! If atmosphere is top of your list do this room! Puzzles were very good and very cohesive. I’ve done a lot of the other rooms here as well excited to see what they build next!

Arctic Storm was an epic escape room adventure, with brilliantly themed puzzles, an expansive set, and ultimately a fantastic time. It was my sister's favorite escape room yet!
Supposedly there's supposed to be snow... this was missing from our playthrough. Most other things looked fantastic though!
Felix was incredible!!!

Awesome game. Not too difficult, but really fun! I think this would be perfect for two people who are escape room veterans.
Awesome game flow.
This was one of my favorites. Not a scary room at all, but I won’t say more. I don’t want to spoil anything!
This was my first time with an actor joining us. I was skeptical at first, but I really enjoyed it. Finley was our helper and she was awesome.

Some of the areas can be cramped. I think 4 or less is ideal.

We liked it! There were a few aspects of this escape room that were very different than any others we had done before. We always like how this escape room place has the GMs stay in character, and ours was very good!

Truly impressive. A gigantic game with lots of well put together puzzles. Escape Ventures seems to be the master of having props and keys fly out at you without you missing them. Be prepared for angry computers to throw a couple of things your way.

This was so fun! Man, all it takes is 1 solid escape room to remind me why I love them so much. Side note, this was the most informative GM prep speech I’ve *ever* gotten on how to play a room - THANK YOU. Do you know how many locks I’ve messed up because I simply couldn’t get them to open properly, despite having the right codes etc? & Chris not only explained the rules but also double checked to see if we had specifics + rewent over stuff with our group. Bless you sir. Originally I wanted to play the Watcher but my group voted for Arctic (Watcher I’ll be back for you someday my beloved) and we all had a blast! The story went a bit more creative than just “you’re at an Arctic station” which I really appreciated, & I also loved the amount of rooms! They didn’t have the fake snow going for our group which was a bummer but we still had fun. I do hope they can bring it back though because I do think that would add just another level of fun to the experience! A lot of reviewers say this room is super physical so I was expecting to have to parkour up a wall or tunnel or something but it was way less than that, it was honestly super chill & if you’re really worried about you can look at the other reviews that say exactly what the one physical thing is, or reach out the business! I really recommend this room for team building because working together is necessary on this one! That being said, more than 4 people & it will get a little tight - we were 4 adults & def got cramped at times, but I’ll take it because I’d rather have more rooms that extra space! It’s a lot of fun overall + a very solid experience. Check it out if you’re all interested, & even if this room doesn’t call out to you, def look at ALL their other options - this company is awesome and I really think they shouldn’t be missed! I can see why they have such positive reviews & awards - thanks again Chris and Escape Ventures!
So great! Linear with some fun random pops along the way! Both our logical teammates & out of the box wildcards got chances to shine!
The set was so fun, I hope they had as much of a blast constructing it as we did going in it! I did see some other reviews saying they got fake snow, which we did not sadly get, but it was still cool nonetheless!
Chris was awesome. Thank you for double checking to make sure we understood everything correctly and helping us gently with hints!

Lots of different puzzles to try and do, some cool effects and very hands on!
It went a bit deeper than just “stuck in the arctic” which I really appreciated for the extra creativity (I’m not the biggest fan of scientific/historic/survival themed rooms personally)

Medium/hard. We def got stuck a few times but we made it in the end with minimal hints! And to be fair, we also are pro overthinkers😂
Both! Some mech puzzles and hands on stuff, and some high tech stuff as well! Solid mix

It gets cramped pretty quick with 4 adults - I think the trade off of more rooms vs space is always worth it but just be aware
Not scary

The puzzles are pretty logical so unless a child is specifically into Arctic stations or tundra park rangers I’d probably do young teen at most. Always ask the business tho!

Ok so right as we went into the room they told us there WAS gonna be a live actor & I was sweating bullets bc my group was staring at me since I’d booked the room and tend to warn them of stuff like that ahead of time. But, what they meant was the GM will be in character in the intro etc. Hope that’s not a spoiler to anyone but it def made me question every moment leading up to us bc as soon as they said actor we all assumed it was gonna be like “here’s someone who’s gonna be in the room with you the whole time” but no. Fear not.
Somewhat
There’s some stairs and crouching. If you’re concerned reach out to the company, but reading the other reviews they made me worry that we’d be doing an obstacle course! Not even remotely close😂
This would not be a good game for a lot of impairments, unfortunately. Reach out to venture escapes and see if they can recommend a better room or adjustments, but for this I can confidently say that there’s crouching, stairs, tight spaces, balancing, sound cues, visual cues, and a bunch of other stuff that would probably make it difficult. Always reach out though!

This room was active, immersive, well paced, with unique puzzles that were a delight to piece together. We loved the multiple floors and rooms we had to crawl and climb through. All in all a definite 10/10
