Smoke & Mirrors: Houdini's Final Escape

The young inexperienced girl game master messed up many things. She didn’t give us intro or story line to room just walked us there and shut door loudly behind her. She was rude entire time. When we would ask for clues she was rude and barely answered or gave clues and had annoyed voice over speaker. Rolled her eyes again when I said I wanted pic with our phone and not theirs for “their record” she kept insisting on using their camera which is a first . Wouldn’t let me use their bathroom despite one being there, she said it’s under construction and didn’t look like it was. Rudely said there’s one just across the street at the arcade. One of the times she was trying to give us a clue over intercom she was silent for two mins then came back on and said she was talking but her microphone was off so I asked for two extra mins on clock but she was rude and said no I can’t do that, I explained she just took away two kind from us by not making sure her audio worked, and she refused even tho we were close to running out of time ! Didn’t walk us out or say goodbye and hid when we left then promptly locked door behind us. Very immature and unprofessional

Super fun room. Whether you are an escape room fanatic or a first timer Smoke and Mirrors is delightful On theme, very fun and intuitive. Highly recommend Zack was out GM and was amazing Some random thoughts: You can rebook for a second game onsite for a discount Parking is a little tricky but not too bad (adjacent to Fun Spot but parking for the room is free) Great atmosphere and staff Room could easily fit 3-5 adult sized humans

This is a fun game, not terribly difficult but the flow was extremely well thought out, the theming and upkeep wonderful. What made it a favorite was the host, Zach. His energy and vibe were perfect and that made for a really enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend.

Rated difficult, was not difficult for results and a 14 year old. Puzzles were direct and we skipped one as well.

I’m not sure if this is a room in a box, but we did this exact same room in Albuquerque last month. There were a couple of things that were a little different, but even some of the lock combinations were the same. Decent room, but again, the AC was acting up. I liked some of the other rooms better at this location, but I didn’t dislike it. Mostly a 1st gen room.

Room was OK. Puzzles were not overtly difficult. Room rated as 9/10 difficulty but did not feel it was this hard. Some issues with some of the technology in the room which interfered with gameplay. Overall a mid room with not much immersion.

The room was so much fun! Perfect amount of challenges and puzzles. Roxie was so much fun! She was funny and welcoming and she played the best music! We will be back!

This was our second escape room here and we were in over our heads. It was a great room and Roxie was amazing but hard was definitely not for us, yet. Roxie helped us get through it though and even though it took us more than an hour to finish, we still feel like we finished it. Really great room would recommend!

Such a fun room! Lots of different puzzles of different types. The theme was carried out through the whole room and was really well done. We did Bubbas room first, but got out pretty quickly so decided to do another. This one was MUCH more difficult. We only had two people, and escaped, but it would have been easier with 3 or 4. I wouldn’t suggest this one as your very first room, but definitely great for those who love escape rooms or have done one before! Roxie was our GM and again- she’s fabulous! I really like what they do for the “set up” and story at the beginning - adds a little twist and fun part to the experience.
