Alien Grill was our third game of the day at Illuminati Escape, continuing the streak after Cyber Attack and Jackpot. As highlighted in my previous reviews, the themed waiting area and the unique touch of having the same GM (Keira) throughout all our games made the whole day feel more curated and immersive, something truly rare and clearly encouraged by the owner. This was my first alien-themed escape room, and I have a soft spot for extraterrestrial/aliens, so I might be a bit biased, but I absolutely loved it. The start of the game sets the tone beautifully, and the decor and atmosphere evolve progressively, pulling you deeper into the extraterrestrial storyline. The puzzles were creative and well integrated, with a particularly strong and memorable ending space. The experience strikes a good balance between fun, immersion, and innovation, with a few challenges that would benefit from having at least one experienced player on the team. That said, itβs still very approachable. Highly recommended for all players, especially those who enjoy a extraterrestrial flair in their escape adventures. π½
