Egyptian Tomb: Trapped in an ancient Egyptian tomb our team of archaeologists to discover the mysteries of the tomb, locate a missing archaeologist, and find a way out. The Big Game: The opposing team was trying to sabotage us on the big game day. Locked in the coach's office, our group of football players had to find a way out before the championship game. Casino Heist: Our team of robbers had to break into the casino vault and get the goods before the police arrived to haul us away to jail. Pros: The experience at Escape Works is top notch from the moment you walk in. The waiting area is nice and clean and the game masters are professional and courteous. The set in each room is simple and decorated to fit the theme. Props are minimal but the few props fit with the overall storyline. The emphasis is less on searching and more on solving the puzzles themselves, which is what we enjoy the most. The puzzles were all logical and linear and worked best with small groups of 6 or less. Smaller group sizes were also best since the rooms themselves were very small. We successfully escaped all three rooms (in spite of ourselves at times). Everybody had a great time! Cons: These rooms definitely work best for smaller groups of people since moving around can be difficult with too many people. The puzzles ranged in complexity and there were a few moments when we were completely stumped and could have used hints a little earlier. The hint system worked but was a bit delayed at times. Some of the puzzles in the Big Game were less logical and therefore delayed our progress. We loved Casino Heist but our brains definitely hurt after trying to solve the mathematical based puzzles there.

No reliance on locks, and pretty good mechanics. We loved the room overall!

Did this room solo while on a biz trip to Denver. It was just enough of a challenge to make it exciting but not so difficult I felt overwhelmed. For my first time by myself it was a great fit. The two GMs were super helpful. Hinting system was great. The room itself was very well designed with lots of great immersive features and really great art.

This room was fun but very dark, which made it difficult to see. The 4 of us got paired with a dad and his 2 young kids. That made it hard to move around the tiny spaces. 7 is WAY too many people. 2-3 would have been better. Some of the clues were hard to figure out. Atmosphere and story was Indiana Jones like.

I didn’t like that the rooms weren’t private. My sisters and I were in a room with a couple on a date and a grandma with her 10 yr old grandson. Creates a weird dynamic.

I felt like this location gave too many clues without us asking for them. The clues were helpful, but tainted our success a little.

Not a big fan of this company and the a-typical themes. The puzzles are very mechanical and traditional without anything new and exciting. I also don't know why they don't allow for private rooms because we had a huge crew of people we knew, and two people we didn't. These rooms are far too small to handle the max number of people (12 people). Because of that and the rooms being linear, there's not enough puzzles for everyone to participate on.

Grateful for lanterns and flashlight as the room is dark(ish). Lots of matching symbols and reading hieroglyphs.

The room is incredibly well dressed, and the puzzles / locks don't break immersion from the "trapped in an Egyptian tomb". We accidentally opened a few of the puzzles early, which was a shame, but the few they had were fun. We all left slightly surprised, as we are by no means a record breaking team, but had 22 mins left on the clock when we finished - which left a little underwhelming feel
A little short / puzzle light, and some things opened prematurely
Incredible! Real sand on the floor
GM was lovely, but you can tell it was a script they've been told to ham up to the max (which, personally, feels hollow)

We had a great time. Unfortunately we were grouped together with strangers to maximize the group size. It wasn’t the best but that’s not the room’s fault. We loved the Egypty feeling of the room and had a ton of fun.
So much fun! Great progression.
Great immersion.
Great staff although they all were really pushy for us to name them in our Google Reviews. I don’t blame them but I think the business put pressure on them to do so. It was sort of awkward.

Overall, I really liked this room! The immersion was enhanced by this one special touch. I won’t spoil it but I couldn’t help but think about the upkeep of it. iykyk ;) The tech was good, the set design was good, super fun!
