A few hundred years ago, the brave halfling Meliot managed to slay the great dragon Smog. He was only able to do this by acquiring the kingdom's most powerful artifacts and using them to slay the beast. All but two of the eggs were destroyed, one the halfling took into his care, the other fell into oblivion over the centuries. But now the brood has hatched and the kingdom is again in danger of being burned to the ground. The only salvation is the halfling's magical gear.
