The lost nun Dorothea is guarding a dark secret . She founded the new order to satisfy her unscrupulous and inhuman desires. From now on, the "Order of Redemption" was her playground , her task, her irreversible destiny. Desperate, restless souls who saw no way out came to her from then on. Her agonizing death was balm for Dorothea's battered heart. Over time, individuals joined the morbid association , and even today there are some followers who continue to play their abnormal games underground far after Dorothea's death and spread the questionable principles in the area. Two of the orders in Dorsten have joined forces and organize the "Games of Redemption". You are setting out on the path of salvation. But beware; when the game becomes a cruel reality, what will your actual deliverance be?

My experience with the escape room "Qualen" (The Agony) was far from enjoyable. The game is designed to push participants to their limits, both mentally and physically, but it often felt excessive and unnecessarily grueling. Some of the puzzles were overly complicated and frustrating, making the experience more about enduring discomfort than enjoying the challenge of solving puzzles. One particularly unpleasant part was a section where you had to fully submerge yourself in water. The water was smelling and seemed stagnant, which made the whole area very unpleasant. Additionally, the divespace was too cramped, posing potential safety hazards for those trying to go through it. The room features elements that are supposed to test your courage and endurance, including degrading tasks and physical discomfort. Unfortunately, several mechanisms in the room did not work properly, which added to the frustration and detracted from the overall experience. This resulted in a disjointed flow and an overall sense of dissatisfaction. For those who enjoy extreme challenges and are looking for an experience that pushes them to their limits, "Qualen" might hold some appeal. However, if you're looking for a more classic escape room experience with well-designed puzzles and a coherent flow, this room is likely to disappoint. It feels more like an endurance test than a fun escape game, and the combination of non-functional elements and the tasks made it an unpleasant experience overall. Only those who specifically seek out extreme and uncomfortable challenges may find it worth their while.

Let the torments - uh games of salvation begin... Last year I found out about it for the first time and heard the phrase "How far would you go?" Well, that phrase alone got me hooked. It was already clear: I have to test it! The experience starts with the e-mail. There were five of us and "prepared" accordingly. Signed the declaration of liability and off we went. As the saying goes: right in the middle instead of just being there! As soon as you get started, it quickly becomes clear what to expect. This will not be a walk, but a real borderline experience! And then it really started! All the while phrases like: Not really! I will not do that! Are they serious? etc. I don't want to go into more detail here, because then I would be spoiling things. The sound and noise backdrop is mega and adapts to the events. It's all there in terms of sound, right up to: I can't think anymore! I really like it when music and sound trigger it. It plays excellently with it. There are also moments when you can relax and devote yourself to the puzzles. Visually, everything fits into the overall picture and the story. Sometimes I really completely ignored the fact that I'm not in a monastery. Everything fits together here for me. The actors… Yes, what can I say…. Mega! Brilliant! Honestly, they can do that perfectly at the secret depot! Everything on point. Moments of shock super fitting and well dosed. Chapeau! And we all did it! YES! We've all been redeemed and believe me, that's a redemption! Here we come full circle. As said, the games start with the mail and fittingly end with redemption. There is "a shoe out of it"! Conclusion: Real borderline experience: Check Mentally and physically: Check Compulsion to take substances orally: Check Wet and dirty: something of a check Horror: Check And also puzzles, fun, teamwork, going beyond your own limits: check everything!!! I can wholeheartedly recommend anyone who wants to experience all this: definitely book! It is worth it .. In my opinion, it is an absolute MUST for them! And it's a great feeling to have tested these limits and to have been redeemed. So off to the secret depot in Dorsten! I can also absolutely recommend all the other rooms and recommend them to you. I'm already looking forward to the next visits. They are safe, like the "Amen" in church! :-) See you soon!
