Complete Your Daring Prison Escape Many consider Prison Break our most difficult escape room. Players are split into two different prison cells and must work together to get out of a 1950s style prison. A successful escape will include a sneaky trip to the wardenβs office. An unsuccessful escape will land you in prison forever. Yes, those are real prison toiletsβ¦.what can we say? We are obsessed with creating realistic environments.

I just love a prison room so much, and this was one of the best Iβve done. So much fun, a good variety of puzzles- I wish I could do it again

This was fun! Our first shared experience escape room, and we were anxiously excited to see how it would be! With a split start where you have to communicate, this game could be a disaster with the wrong group. Luckily, the other group of three were noce people and easy to communicate with. I am happy that not many companies do the shared experiences anymore, but it was also a lot of fun to have experienced one. To the game: Fun puzzles, nice sets, good amount of things to do, different puzzles, and ways for all players to shine during the game. I am pretty sure it would have been horrible with the full player count, so I was happy we were only five players. A fun prison break room that I can absolutely reccomend.

This room was great because it was full of lots of puzzles. I think the only difficulty comes from solving the number of puzzles in the amount of time you have, rather than from the puzzles being challenging or novel. Experienced players will have seen all these puzzles before. The biggest downside of this room is that you have to share with strangers unless no one books the same time slot as you or you want to pay for all 8 time slots. π But if you can get past that, this room was well decorated for its theme and it was a fun way to spend an hour.
A prison is kind of a drab set, but they did a great job at making it look like a prison.
Very friendly. Our GM, Chris, was great!

Not a unique theme, but well done for what it is going for.
It was a pretty typical prison breakout story. But a good quality video at the beginning to introduce you to it.
Hard
Would be hard for less experienced players. There arenβt any puzzles a more experienced player wonβt have seen before, but the number of puzzles is high, so fills the time.

Sort of. One of our puzzles was missing a key indicator for what was supposed to be done with it, so as a result our group didnβt use it. Then we used a key to unlock something that was supposed to be used elsewhere and our GM didnβt know what to do, so he just told us that we were meant to use that key on a different lock and that he didnβt even know it worked on the lock we used it on. If he hadnβt said anything, we may never have tried it on the correct lock, since we successfully used it on an incorrect lock and most things in escape rooms are one time use.

Not much, although there is optional crawling.
The crawling part can be avoided, but there is one part with some stair steps that wouldnβt be accessible for someone in a wheelchair. But all the group members donβt have to go up there.

This is our last room from the Escape Game! And you will get a free T-shirt after you finish all of their rooms! We love this room and thereβs some tricky part of it. Not a hard room, but fun still haha. You canβt go wrong with the Escape Game!

It's fine. Like really, it's okay. It won't blow yourmind, but is a fun way to kill an hour before dinner. Split starts are always interesting, and this is their hardest room by a long shot. The games biggest issue is that there are a few things that are extreme easy to bypass, so if your an escape room purist, just remember not to brute fore anything.

Probably one of my least favorite escape room experiences but not sure that was entirely the gameβs fault. It is a tough game and my crew was not doing particularly well, although I wish the game master hadnβt given us clues unless we asked for them. Good room design, as always, from Escape Game, but the puzzles were a bit arbitrary. It also really bothered me that the game master stood in the doorway when we were done and held up their Venmo QR code so you really had no choice but to scan it. Love the concept of a QR code for tipping but donβt want it shoved in my face. My friends stuck around and played another game there, though, so maybe it just wasnβt for me.

One of their older setsβbut still very well done. Immersive and puzzles flowed nicely. Alot of observational style puzzle solving. Medium difficulty for experienced players but definitely a little difficult for new players not used to the βfunnel downβ process of puzzle solving. Very nice staff!! We enjoyed our experience and had the perfect ampunt of nudges when we were stuck to make sure the experience was fun and not frustrating!

Mostly mechanical but it fit into the theme!

Ideally i would think 3-4 but we played with 2 just fine. You just need strong players in the beginning who can communicate well.

I've done other versions of the Prison Break before with a split start. This one does not stand out to me as offering anything novel or unique but it still offers a solid experience. I would not recommend playing this room with strangers. If you can, fill up the room slots ( I believe you can have as many as 8 people) or just get the whole room to yourselves. The communication needs to be streamlined to get through the first part. My advice is to look everywhere, high above and down below!

Very interesting room, I agree with Escape Games on this being their hardest room. There's a fun easter egg between this room and Gold Rush if you end up doing both. But the room itself has several tactile puzzles that brings the prison break to life. Some of the puzzles are a little old fashioned and hard to see without light, but overall immersive and thematic. Would suggest for a small group to get full immersion, probably 4 so you can start off split with 2 & 2. Communication is key! You either all get out, or no one gets out.
