Zodiac Serial Killer

I really wanted to like this room. The GM was great, fully in character. The puzzles are generally good. There is a high scavenger hunt element which is where most of our hints went. (They are still doing the old school “one hint every ten minutes” thing, but generally when we wanted one, it had been ten minutes. So while I object to this on principle, it didn’t actually keep us from finishing.) My biggest complaint — for the second room in a row at this venue — is that the finale puzzle doesn’t work! They had us enter the code repeatedly and the thing that is supposed to happen did not happen. It’s just terribly anticlimactic to go through the entire room and then someone has to just let you out manually. I would have given the room a thumbs up on its overall gameplay but not being able to finish because of poor maintenance is just not acceptable.

Terrible room. My biggest annoyance with this place is they are escape rooms for the very small percentage of people who are competitive trying to be on a leaderboard. The other 99% of people who do rooms just want to have fun. 3 hint rule limit on this room with the puzzles being as weird as they are just is not fun. Do not recommend this at all.

Slightly scary, mostly in the beginning. Failed to escape. Only two of us. Used every hint possible. What to do next was largely obtuse, dependent on 100% clue gathering in a very dark room which wasn't fun for me.

Spooky room with some unique puzzles and the set is awesome! Had a great time. Game master was enthusiastic.

Great ambiance and setting. Truly immersive experience that some thinking to get through.

I thought the lighting was very dark it was hard to see things that you actually needed to see. You could only have a clue every 10 minutes so it makes it hard if you get stuck on something simple. Argue master didn't hold back when he did give a clue and gave us the answers. Spent a bunch of time trying to figure out what had opened when we finished a puzzle and if we had done it correctly.

Best game ever!

The game flow was probably the best part of this game since it all fit in and made sense. There was a good mix of puzzles, from written stuff to techy ones. Nothing crazy but definitely a nice mix which worked with the theme. As an enthusiast having played a wide range of games from basic to top ones I would say this room is about a 6/10. Scenery a bit basic at the start but then gets much better. Difficulty wise I thought it was a bit easy to be called their hardest room.

This room is very high quality! Some of the puzzles are quite unique and the props are amazing! There is a very unexpected part of the room to discover. I liked this room a lot, it’s worth the price! We did it with only 2 persons and 17m left on the clock, enjoying every minute!

By far one of the top rooms I’ve ever played! Easily in my top 3 favorites. Unique hint system, unique intro sequence, unique puzzles (even one that I never thought I’d see in an escape room [a very “polar” difference from what I’m used to :) ]), and overall a room that will make you *want* to finish it. It is their hardest room currently, so you will need a chunk of experience with what to expect to get through it.
