You find yourself trapped in a strange Laboratory belonging to the mad scientist Dr Crowl. As you search the room, you quickly notice a bomb and a timer counting down. You also see several peculiar objects. Some you recognize, like the 3D printer pen, the burning laser or the vat of slime. Others you have no idea. They must be the key to survival, but can you figure it out in time?

Puzzles, lots of puzzles, different levels and styles of puzzles, but all fun puzzles to be done with your favorite fun people. This is a perfect example of what a difference well thought out execution makes. This doesn't have the big set design and gadgetry we often talk about in rooms, but the designer takes what could have been just a string of puzzles and elevates it into one of the most fun escape rooms I've done with my friends. Yes, it's lots of puzzles, but they're all different, they're all clever, and we had so much fun working separately and together that it highlights everything I love most about escape rooms.

This was actually our very first experience with Brain Games, and escape rooms in general, about two years ago. We had a blast, and we were so thrilled to hear they were opening more rooms in the space. Highly recommend, and this one is a great room for “beginners“.

A game to play and love if you love puzzles. Multiple linear paths of puzzles that can all be started and pursued at once. Culminating to a final moment. Really enjoyable but not the game if you are looking for sets and special effects. Great for a challenge.

The Laboratory was a lot of fun. It’s ways awesome when escape rooms exceed your expectations. Especially if you’ve done so many already. There were several very clever puzzles and the gameplay was so much fun!! There was never a dull moment.
The gameplay was AWESOME! A variety of puzzles, some I’ve never seen before! Super fun!! 10 outta 10.
Great customer service.

The Laboratory had several puzzles had never seen before. They were all fun and we highly recommend this room!
Expert
Depends on how many people you play with but for two folx, we’d call is expert level, and possibly Hard mode for 3-4 people.
High tech
A great mix of both, really.

I guess the room can be difficult for just two players but if you’re a seasoned escapist, you’ll do just fine!

I’m usually not a fan of ERs that are just rooms with puzzles but this room was done well. It’s not as immersive as Treasure Island but the puzzles were challenging and satisfying to solve. In a way it did feel like a laboratory because we were all doing something; it would sometimes get chaotic in there. We loved how the puzzles were mapped out for us to keep track. This is definitely replayable
Non linear but also linear
Nothing special. It looked kind a laboratory
Dan stayed late so we could play this after we did Treasure Island

You could choose your difficulty.

We originally chose hard, but our a host Dan monitored our progress and increased our difficulty while we were in there.

A super fun room with a ton of puzzles. The layout and flow of the room feels great and let’s your party do this non-linearly. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a challenge in puzzles
We played it on extra hard with 4 people. So many puzzles! It was awesome
Pretty standard “lab in an office building” setting
The GM was such a nice guy and let us play this third game whenever we are done with the other two. Super great business
Yes
I liked how the puzzle flow was laid out so that it was very clear how to do the puzzles in the room in which order.
I don’t think there was really a plot other than solve a ton of puzzles

I do think this requires a lot of knowledge around escape rooms for the group to be successful if you play it on extra hard

Coming to this one with a group of 7 was perfect for the challenge presented. It was a two room escape with a million locks and challenges that were in a certain order to follow. Some people don’t like the small space but hundred locks type of set up but I thought this one had it planned out well. With 70 minutes of time instead of 60 we barely made it out with a minute left. We all had something to do to keep ourselves busy then join the others with their puzzles. Pretty fun place. Def recommend

If you care more about puzzles than story then I highly recommend this room. It was a lot of fun and had our group of 6 working hard. Plenty of puzzles for everyone and were challenging.

A puzzle lovers fantasy! Multiple puzzle paths you can take at multiple difficulty levels, lots of cool DIY puzzle boxes and devices. There were only 3 of us, 2 intermediate players and a newbie so we opted for the middle difficulty but ended up going through the puzzles too fast and we're gifted with the final tier, mid game. This turned out to be a great first room for our friend who had a blast.
