Awesome host, loved the theme and all of the different techs and innovative puzzles!! Atmosphere starts immediately when you enter. Highly recommended :)

Fun escape room! Very immersive and uses sophisticated technology (more than just keys and locks). I think it's one of the best rooms in Portland.

Amazing! Tons of unique puzzles and the gamemaster Patrick did a great job at letting us try and solve something before giving us a hint. Very memorable experience :)

This is a full-on escape experience! The lobby is hilarious and full of nostalgia. The staff is funny and friendly. The escape rooms, quite simply, are epic. Having done 300+, both rooms are among the best we've seen. The overall game design was superb. The puzzles were unique, challenging, topical, and often humorous. Many of these we've never seen anywhere else. There were custom elements throughout that provided a steady stream of sportive surprises. And I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you, Patrick!

This room has some unique puzzles and advances pleasantly. Probably the most creative casino themed room I’ve done up to this point. My group found it pleasantly challenging offering a few head scratchers. Immersion is great, loved the theming throughout. My hats off to Patrick, our game master, who really stole the show. His enthusiasm and quick witted comments were a treat. Overall this was a great room, highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town.

I love the retro theming here. And the clever use of retro tech and of course alf, literally obsessed! The puzzles were unique and fun for experienced escape artists and we brought along a couple newbies who were thrilled. Unparalleled, this is the best escape room company in Portland. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Overall we really liked the game and highly recommend others to play it!
Gameplay
We loved the game. There was 6 of us and we barely escaped in time. There were moments that we were all working on the same problem which sometimes I don’t like but in this game it felt good to be working together.

In Search of An Exit is the most memorable escape room experience you will find in Portland; simple as that. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, it is a unique, immersive, creative, and hilarious blast. Everyone that works there brings so much energy and passion to what they do. For this specific room, the theming and technology is pitch perfect. It may not be the biggest room you'll play, but it will transport you back to the 80s with clever puzzles and wonderful wit and humor. Really nothing quite like it.

What a fun room! The set and props were well done and full of late 80s nostalgia (and mobster theming). Encountered some unique puzzles and had the best time! Thanks to our GM, Kelly, for setting the bar high with a great first escape room experience in Portland
