Pretty linear straightforward room, nothing too fancy.

This was my first experience at Deadline and it didn’t disappoint. The room design was really cool. Everything was in great condition. Linear game play, but you can surely split up to work on a few things at a time. Great room for beginners or for an experienced 2-person team. We didn’t need clues for the room, but the GM, John, was great!

Linear and a good beginner room, but the theme was neat and well thought out! As always are GM was friendly and helpful in the very few hints we asked for. Would recommend for families or younger kids.

Fantastic room, well designed, everything worked perfectly, the decor and ambiance was spot on. Puzzles were clever and they had a good way of distinguishing episode 1 and 2.

The grayscale theming is very cool. The room is by far the easiest at this location, but still fun

Great room, clues were straightforward and easily solvable. Mostly padlocks or combo locks.

Well done room. The grayscale concept was interesting and added a fun element. Also innovative that they make two episodes out of one room.

Combining the review for episodes 1 and 2 because they are very similar rooms. I really liked the idea of have 2 different stories set in the same environment. Although I really enjoyed playing both of the episodes, I don't think there was enough content in both to warrant it being 2 games. I think this would have worked better as a single 90-minute game. One of the drawbacks of having 2 different games in the same setting is that almost everything in the room is marked to tell you which game it applies to, so you kind of know everywhere to look right off the bat. When you start the game, the black-and-white theme of the room is really cool. But after a while, you kind of forget it's there. The interaction with your "informant" who gives you items as you progress through the game is very well done. Overall, a very fun game, but kind of short as 2 individual episodes.
